Kingsford Riverside Inn

Not like the pictures!! – We booked this accomodation through Agoda for a one night stay on 24/09/2020. When we booked online we booked a family room - 2 adults and 3 kids, and we said we would not be arriving until 10pm ish. We arrived and no one was here so rang and the owner/manager said he would come down but he was very cranky. Better communication perhaps needs to happen between Agoda and place of booking to rectify this. We had no idea no one would be here as we thought we’d done the right thing by letting them know when placing the booking. Photos of this place are VERY misleading. This place stunk of cigarette smoke, is old and in poor condition. As well, when we booked our room it never said anything about a shared shower or bathroom. Would never stay here again. I think Agoda needs to double check on some of these places they are advertising for to make sure they are what they are advertising. Also had breaky included......on arrival got told no breaky due to covid......ok with this thou cos I wouldnt eat anything out of this place! $133 that could have been better spent!
