For the little savings you get from harvesting water.. will end up costing you a fortune The pump will break 2 months after the warranty ends.. $1800 for a new pump. the tank will start to leak.. and the thousands to get a plumber to uninstall. The warranty phone number directs offshore and you’ll have to pay $160 upfront for a technician to come to the property to look at the tank
130,000L Tank with Leaks in Liner in less than 6 months. It took over 3 months of repeated emails and phone calls, all going unanswered, until we finally had the liner replaced. We still haven't a single reply to any emails sent. Getting hold of the Repairs Team is near on impossible, with even the Sales team making comments of 'Good Luck'. … Read more
We were then given less than 24hrs notice they were coming to replace the liner, even after asking to be kept updated.
They then tried to screw us over with the water replacement, it was only after contacting the water cartage company did we find out they had only replaced 50% of the agreed water.
Sales and Production Team are great, Repairs and Maintenance dont care.
Do not recommend and will never use Kingspan group ever again.
Had two kingspan tanks at our last rental, both had nothing but issues. We're now in a brand new home and wasn't happy to see Kingspan being installed by the builder. At the surprise of no one, we've had 3 service calls in the 3 months we've lived here. These pumps are the most unreliable hunks of crap I've ever dealt with.
I would never buy a water tank from kingspan again, we had one installed buy them and the water level always stayed mostly full,I contacted them and the lady said that was normal ,the pump kept coming on continually, keeping it the water always to the top of the tank,I rang them again ,and finally they sent out a there plumber, and he found that… Read more
the float was getting caught by one of the thread lines that go across the tank,a simple adjustment and now it works OK,this took them 17 mths to rectify, then I rang them and emailed them to ask for some sort of compensation as it was to save our water usage, and they have never replied ,I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone
Well done to Kingspan – Every step of the way was handled professionally and the installation team were amazing
Great service – Great tech support and service. Thanks for your help on recent project
Ripped off – Rural development team changed the delivery Date less than 24 hours beforehand. I don't live at the property currently and I explained this to them and also by email. The water cart was also on its way and had to be turned around. Apparently the roof wasn't on the truck. I now have no dust and vermin proof seal fitted. 2 months I waited abs then… Read more
I rang to tell them. No explanation on why it happened. They happy to take your money and run. Please be aware people I won't use again
Kingspan is hands-down the most unpleasant company I have ever dealt with – Kingspan is hands-down the most unpleasant company I have ever dealt with. I paid £395 for an engineer to fix an issue with an under-warranty BioDisc. The engineer turned up, diagnosed the issue in a couple of minutes, disabled the existing warning lamp and announced that I would get an email. He retired to his van and played with his phone for… Read more
another 90 minutes before quietly sneaking off. The BioDisc was left partially disabled.
The email demanded another £145 to replace a small plastic lamp and was followed up immediately with a call from someone pushing the sale hard and threatening me with the engineer leaving site. As the unit was under warranty, I obviously declined and after being put through to a manager and questioning them, I discovered:
1. That Kingspan were attempting to hide behind obscure T&Cs (not provided during the purchase of the unit) to avoid honouring their warranty. 2. That they certainly knew in advance that they would decline the warranty claim when the engineer was booked, and clearly planned to hold the customer hostage for a replacement part. I put this to the manager specifically and they didn’t even bother to deny it. 3. That this behaviour is a lucrative revenue stream for Kingspan. During the discussion with the manager, the engineer quietly left.
After some discussion with the manager (who did not provide any contact details), I was able to secure a replacement lamp at no extra charge and attempted to book another engineer.
The engineer was supposed to book-in with me, but instead apparently arrived early morning while I was in the shower and then left. It's been 6 weeks and I've not been able to get a replacement engineer, or a refund for works not done. My BioDisc is still in the state the first engineer left it in, with a disabled warning lamp.
Emails not replied to, not built to last – Have a 3000L slimline tank with evolution mkiii pump on the house we bought. Parts needing replacement shortly after warranty expired. Several emails not responded to after a few weeks by the company. Steer clear!
Don’t use this company – Tank delivered to new build not connected properly waiting 6 months for them to rectify. In north Brisbane flooding around us YEP TANK NOT FULL. Promised they would fix it I waited until after 5 today when they said they would be here and again they haven’t shown up
Blue scop steel tank-worst product – Got Blue scope steel tank by Kingspan, got rusty just after 12 years. No doubt these product does not life long warranty but you get worry when other people have tanks older then 20 plus years without any issue. Never recommend kingspan Blue scope rain tanks
KINGSPAN SENSIT USB NOT WORKING, SUPPORT VERY POOR – Despite other customer's negative reviews, I decided to try the KINGSPAN Sensit USB for myself. Since delivery on 26/01/2023 this device has been problematic & a waste of time for 10 weeks now. Issues encountered: Flashing White/Amber LED relating to product registration delays on Kingspan's server, inaccurate readings, loss of connectivity… Read more
causing the 'Connect' app to display, 'Last reading from your tank was done more than 48 hours ago. Please check connection.'
Multiple emails and phone calls to Kingspan's support team are not only time consuming but often full of excuses. No doubt, if they take time reading this review, it will be another copy & paste reply from Customer Services to sugar coat the issues with these devices.
In summary, save your money & wait until their developers understand and resolve the issues. With any luck, other manufacturers will design a better alternative as this thing is nothing more than a glow in the dark as it requires 24/7 connection to a wall socket.
Pathetic Company – I would give less than one star if I could. Their customer service is pathetic. I have called and emailed so many times regarding my water tank that’s only 5 months old and never been in use, and no one gets back to me. If they took the time to test products when installed there wouldn’t be a reason to log a service call after only a few months. Avoid this company!

Disappointed – Really disappointed that this business isn't interested in supplying an 8-10,000 residential water tank - in Smithfield! Went into their office on 9th January, was told a service manager would call me to book an on site quote. Rang a week later, was told they were all booked, but a service manager would call me, etc. etc. Still no return call. Customer service = zero.
Company don't honour warranty – Brought our first Rhino water tank in about 2008 never had a problem with it so in 2011 we brought another one. Last year we got an email saying they where going to do an inspection on it. The man who came to inspect was friendly and helpful, while he was checking the anodes he found some rust in the top sheet of the tank. He finished his… Read more
inspection and said I needed to put a bit more blue metal around the base but to contact the company and they would replace the faulty sheet of iron. He said the blue metal had nothing to do with the rust because it was right at the top and not from the bottom. We contacted the company and where told NO they wasn't enough blue metal around the base so we could go jump. They would charge us full price to replace the faulty sheet of iron. We took it higher and they said its not our fault(Rhino's fault) it was the fault of the agent we ordered the tank from. The agent came and looked and said it had nothing to do with the base it was just a faulty sheet of iron. The warranty said blue metal must be placed around the base to stop animals digging under it and causing the bottom to bend. The rust is in the top sheet of iron, nowhere near the bottom of the tank. The inspector and the agent both agreed its a faulty sheet of iron, nothing to do with not enough blue metal around the base. I will never buy from this company again, I am looking at buying two more water tanks but will choice another company after the way Rhino/Kingspan have treated me.
Apart from leaks and bad paint it works – We had a new kingspan tank installed. It only took three callouts for the leaks to be fixed. We had to dump the water each time and wait for it to fill. The paint is coming of in places after four months and it is discoloring in other places. The repair people were nice but had to cut a second access hole. So now I have a tank with extra holes, it holds water but the paint is coming off. I would not even buy one to cut in half as a dog kennel.
Hopeless service not worth buying – We have Kingspan rain water tank of 3000 Litres installed by builder. This company does not have stock of high-flow filter sleeves since long time more than 6 months. I have provided my email id to notify me when stock arrives but waiting for nearly 6 months. How can you expect this company's follow-up with their suppliers? Be careful to buy this product as the parts aren't available for such long time.
Kingspan rain water tanks - Used by Clarendon homes - I will advise outcomes once I have spoken to their CEO – I will advise outcomes once I have spoken their CEO early nxt week. I have sent an email highlighting my concerns to Kingspan and Clarendon homes. I expect my concerns to be satisfactorily resolved.
Terrible service – Experienced terrible service from this company. The only few things this company does well is avoiding answering challenging questions, fails to listen and speaks over the top of people. Next company staff training day be sure to spend a considerable amount of time on "effective communication skill"
