Kleenmaid CM01X

Great machine – I make excellent coffee with this machine. I have had it now for 14 years. I am only just now having a problem, I think maybe the pump needs replacing. A $98 part. I have already replaced the coffee holder seals twice and the steamer seals once. Jobs I did myself. I am very happy with it. Show details

No steam – Hi "No Steam". I have the same model. The Steam wand often blocks up with milk. I use a toothpick to clear the hole. You can also undo the nut holding the wand on to the machine and test it for a clear path. The other thing is to remember to check water level - no water - no steam.

no steam – i have inherited an older model Kleenmaid CM01X - however i cannot get the steam to work, it makes the coffee part and grinds the coffee but no steam for milk does anyone have any ideas? No-one seems to know what is wrong with it and it is probably something really simple

I wouldn't touch it! – Not that it matters now that the company has gone belly up, but it may help those considering second hand purchase. We found it took weeks of adjusting the grind to get a good coffee and it only ever frothed the milk which was not thick and creamy. produce sufficient liquid or strength for two cups at a time. It didn't handle coffee and frothing at same time and if we were making a few coffees for visitors it became a lengthy and stressful experience with either the beans or water running out midway. We unfortunately bought from their annual sale a reconditioned machine for $2300 with warranty however the company went into liquidation weeks later and by that time any supplier or service agent burnt by Kleenmaid wouldn't touch the machine. We have tolerated the machine now for over 3 years and it has been repaired 10+ times, so virtually every component has been replaced at a cost to us of $1500. This week it has died again and we've decided it is now time to take it to sea and create our own artificial reef. Maybe we'll have better luck using it for fishing rather than for coffee!!! Good – Machine was fixed by a local appliance specialist very cheapily and have not had any issues since... fingers crossed. Gets used every day and i mean every day so does a lot of work and very happy with it now. Love the look and finish. Was not working for 7 months as trying to get a leak fixed and electronic issues. Then Kleenmaid went belly up so wasnt going to get fixed. Show reply

Excellent – i have 5 kleenmaid appliances all for over 2 years. not 1 appliance has ginen any problems. the coffee machine is great. its just a pitty they whent belly up. looks great & works well no dislikes at all

Terrible – We had this machine fixed 12 for leaksand we got it back and it still leaks, So we got a Nespresso now a lot cheaper and not as messy look Smart Leaks water

Excellent – this appliance is great ive replaced a miele the top of range coffee maker, this is quiet and smooth much easier to use and clean the finish and detail and ease of use the blue light can be a bit eary
