Do not bother with the Anko batteries. I bought a packet to use in those strings of low powered indoor twinkle lights (the ones that are a wire with tiny bulbs dotted along the pliable wire). Last year I used duracell & one lot of batteries lasted the whole season (mid November to mid January). These anko bayyeries have lasted THREE DAYS. That’s… Read more
it. Three days. At this rate I’ll need 20 packets of batteries so certainly not a saving. I knew they wouldn’t outperform or match performance with Duracell, but I expected more than three days out of them in tiny twinkle lights.
Don’t last – Batteries only last for a week or two in remotes, terrible quality. Any other brand lasts months, not even game to try them In something that actually uses power. Don’t buy
Waste very quickly! – Batteries last about 2 weeks in my Foxtel tv remote! I have changed them 3 times in just over a month. Terrible quality, no value here. Don’t waste your money.
Well, you get what you pay for – A long time ago, my family used to buy the Crazy Clarks branded batteries. You know the ones, the silver ones with purple tops. Sold like 50 for $6. AA's, and these do the trick. Lasted a long time without any leaking that I'm aware of. However, I bought these copper lights from Kmart, they dangle from my curtains and some blu-tacked to my wall. However, I find that the light drains fairly quickly with these batteries, despite the product claiming that's what they're good for. I'm trying to save money by not turning on lights and sticking to battery operated lights... these batteries don't do very much. I'd like to add that they are fine for my CD player and remotes, but they do very little for my light situation. I know they aren't alkaline or lithium, but maybe I'll have to do that for my light situation. I recommend these if you're on the cheap, looking for batteries. They aren't terrible, but they could do a lot better. Keep them for emergencies, and for your TV remote.
