Kmart Anko Monaco Eyelet Block Out Curtain

I bought these 2 curtains less than 1 year ago for my guest room . I’m having to replace them already as the ‘blockout’ backing has worn off in parts where the curtain makes constant contact with the window ledge . In my own bedroom I have blockout curtains (not from Kmart!) that are 10+ years (on similar windows) and still in perfect blockout conditions. THIS IS JUST VERY POOR QUALITY. I think a reasonable expectation would be for blockout curtains to last 2-3 years under normal usage. I am at least hoping to get store credit when I take them back. Customer service personnel informed me that warranty was only on certain goods . Get staff to understand basic Australian consumer rights laws so they can give meaningful advice.
