I had this under some of the edges of a rug on vinyl plank flooring for 12 months without the rug moving. When I bought a new rug I removed the old tape from the floor. It wasn't too difficult. I just had to use Orange Power to remove some of the sticky leftover. There was no damage at all to my floor. Definitely recommend this product

 Follow-up  · For my new rug I placed a piece of tape about 40cm x 65cm about 1cm away from the edge on each corner. It gripped the floor perfectly. When I lifted the rug to move it, the tape stuck to the floor, not the rug. There was no residue on the rug.

Purchased in at Kmart for $5.

this product is very effective for the price and it actually goes a long way. I was completely surprised at how sticky it was. I highly recommend it to keep rugs from being tripped over
