Perfect if your dog DOESN’T chew – 3 months ago we adopted a 1yo Whippet and I bought a 2nd of these beds from Kmart so that each dog had their own. She shredded the model we had for 3yrs for our older boy, who doesn’t chew. I put it down to UV and weather exposure degrading the fabric. Today I’ve discovered a hole in the new one. Turns out these only offer resistance to dogs that don’t chew. For $42, these do not represent value for money. They are simply an expensive chew toy Show details

Didn’t last 2 hours – Was hoping by the reviews on Kmart website that it would be more durable. My 9 mth American bulldog chewed large holes in 3 corners and a hole in the top before ripping it apart within 2 hours of having the bed (unsupervised) Must say, was impressed with the volume of filling. Show details

Didn’t even last one night – I brought it home yesterday afternoon hoping it’ll keep the dogs warm and by morning it was completely torn apart, the material is weak and what’s even worse is the stuffing goes everywhere once it’s out.

Not chew resistant at all. Waste of money – Luckily it was half price when I purchased it but it didn’t last more than two days before the zip busted and the insides were ripped apart during the night. Show details

Definitely not chew resistant! – Kmart advertises this dog bed as being ‘chew resistant’. Our dog seemed to like the bed and slept on it over 2 night but on the 3rd day destroyed the bed completely (see image).
