respond. When they have replied they have deflected responsibility, saying my concerns will be escalated or that they are short staffed. The issue remains unresolved. I will be reaching out to Consumer Affairs Victoria for assistance and reporting my concerns to the ACCC.

We bought a 200 x 300 olive green rug well over a year ago but it has aged terribly. We've contacted the customer service hoping to agree on a remedy but were told that we should use a low suction vacuum and a needle to pull back all the threads that have popped out over time. not that much past the 12 month warranty period it looks absolutely derelict.

Do not purchase.

12/06/25 UPDATE - after discussing the matter with KOALA support post this review, they offered a remedy of $100 off a $1000 purchase.

Needless to say, the review score stands as does our original critique of the product.

Gorgeous but high maintenance – I bought the Koala rug, sheer bliss rug in paperback. I've owned it for 7 months and it is gorgeous! I love it and forgive it's constant shedding, because of how beautiful it is, however it is still shedding. I have 2 indoor dogs and the light colour has stood up to dirty dog prints really well. wary of the colours. I’ve attached pictures of my rug, I find the colour difference pretty obvious when comparing the stitching to the one advertised on the website.
