Can't live without it – It's just perfect in every way. I love that I can borrow e-books directly from my local library. It also automatically downloads any books you have on request as soon as they become available. The natural light setting is perfect for night-time reading because it doesn't keep you awake and if you doze off you don't have to wake up again to turn off your reading lamp.

Best E reader ever! – I am in love with this E reader having had a Kindle and a Kobo Glo HD before. I love the size at 7.8 inch, being the equivalent of a mini iPad. So much better than the 6 inch screen of the other models. It is light and thin and oh, so easy to hold. Clear, crisp all over screen with no bezel to collect dirt. Easy to download book purchases and price match with Amazon with any difference added to your Kobo credit for future purchases. I needed landscape mode for reading on my Kindle. This is not available on the Kobo but I find I don't need it with the larger screen which resembles a full size paperback page. I have the Kobo cover on my reader which puts the reader to sleep when closed and wakes it when opened. The cover complements the Aura One and also folds to make it possible to stand the reader upright for hands free reading. Perfect!

CANNOT FIND ANY LIBRARIES – Bought a Kobo Aura one a couple of months ago as a present specifically to use with libraries in Australia using Overdrive. Unfortunately, Overdrive has problems finding libraries and in my case never finds any libraries so the Kobo is effectively useless for this purpose. Recipient of present very disappointed. The Kobo was specifically purchased after checking that it was able to connect to Australian libraries (which it actually cannot!).

The web browser as an alternative is still in development as a beta offering and the device is generally laggy and slow, especially so on the browser.

Not bad – Bought this because it is the largest one available & find it ok to use without any directions - need the kobo guide to help - so will look for it I suppose. Also because I can borrow books from the library and not have to buy them if they have them...difficult to set up to borrow from the library, and an ongoing issue, at times it just seems to work....love not having to turn on light to read with it..at night and early in the morning. Kobo would have got top stars if it included the guide on the ereader for its kobo. Release in 2016 but bought it because it is the largest screen available ie it cost an extra $100 compared to the new release Aura H20. Love the case I bought which puts the ereader asleep and opens to the same page when opened.

Kobo Aura One - excellent – Kobo Aura One is my first Ereader, and I like it a lot. Light, easy to read from large 7.8 inch screen and I particularly like the "Comfort Light" feature (which reduces blue light exposure at night). No more weightlifting heavy hardbacks! Not cheap ($350 including cover from JB HiFi) but worth the price. Took a little while to understand how the Kobo works, and how to access Kobo bookstore and borrow books from all my local public libraries (via Overdrive app). Australian Kobo users have the advantage of being able to borrow library ebooks unlike Kindle users who can only do so in USA.

All in all I recommend this product highly.
