Cheap, works well & fast delivery. Kogan does it again! – I've used this for 1 year and very regularly (so the device is constantly being recharge) and it's still good. Purchased for $10 and it came with 4GB microSD card but the headphones were rubbish (not unexpected). I use it to listen to music while I exercise and during gardening and cleaning. I also use it at to listen to lectures and as a portable data storage device in an emergency. I am very happy with this device (I bought 2) and they have been a dream. There are more expensive and stylish devices but this one gets the job done for a fraction of the price.

The only con is the length of the charging cable (problem easily fixed).

You get what you pay for – Inexpensive product that does what it says. It plays songs stored on the SD card but there is no shuffle function and every time the player is switched on it plays right from the beginning, not a particularly good thing if you have 200+ songs. A problem I discovered with this player is that when it is connected to my computer via USB, not only does it charge extremely slowly, data transfer is painstakingly slow. It also mutes my computer - a strange problem.

To overcome this you can charge with an AC wall charger. A faster way of transferring songs over onto the SD card is to remove the card from the mp3 player and use an SD card adapter, so you won't get ridiculously slow write speeds like 160 kbs like you would if you connected via USB.

Kogan did not use any bubble wrap or padded envelopes to post the mp3 player in - just a normal cardboard envelope to cut shipping costs (I bought this on a free shipping promotion). The mp3 player did not come in any retail box - just a simple plastic zip bag and plastic wrap. Don't even bother with the cheap earphones they supply you with - low quality. Inexpensive, clip function, expandable SD card function Short battery life, affects PC when connected via USB, cheap earphones

MP3 player – It's certainly a nice little piece and works well for the price, however the fact it starts from Track 1 every time it's turned on is a no no for me. Other players pick up from where it was turned off. The flashing red light while playing is another irritating 'feature' and the battery does not seem to last all that long. It's small, cheap and plays ok

I've purchased one, whilst at the cheaper price, and had troubles with it. I contacted Kogan, who were excellent in getting me out a replace, but it didn't work either. I got a second replacement, and that didn't work properly. I could download music on it, and listen the music whilst it was plugged into a PC, but once the player was unclipped from the PC, it wouldn't work at all. I'm sedning all 3 back, and they can keep them.
