Kraft Cashew Spread

This is my favorite spread ! – I love Cashews and this spread is just perfect. It is smooth and flavorsome. I particularly like it on fresh bread but enjoy it on anything I need to have a spread on. I also indulge in eating it by the spoonful directly from the jar. I prefer it to Peanut Butter. I am so disappointed I can't buy it any where. If it is discontinued please bring it back!!!

So smooth and delicious! – I LOVE this product! It is so smooth, slightly sweet, nutty with that cashew flavour and just yum on toast. If you're a raw cashew fan, you will love it too.

Bega Cashew crap spread review – I was hoping to rate this half a star but that’s not an option. This is way too sweet and milky. Disgusting product to get people hooked on more sugar!!! Extremely disappointed!! Nothing Australian about this product! May even contain wheat, barley, rye, peanuts and soy. Just kill me now!

Crap – Considering BEGA is about the home grown product, I was very disappointed to see it is a Belgium product . The first thumbs down. Then it only has 25% cashews in it. 2nd thumbs down. Very disappointed – Much too sweet, bought as a treat as love cashew spreads I have tried before. This doesn't taste of cashews, one taste was enough! Also why is this a product of Belgium? I have supported bega as using all aussi products. Twice as much sugar as home brand peanut butter

Sweet and delicious, like the inside of a Bueno bar – Ok so this spread is NOT healthy, and if you were looking for a natural, cashews-only type spread, this is not the one for you. I have it as a treat, as I would Nutella, as it is easy to eat straight from the jar, or spread on toast, etc. I think its really tasty, sweet and smooth like the filling in a Bueno chocolate bar. But yeah, not at all healthy or especially cashew-like in flavour - only mild.

So Delicious! – So yummy with honey on toast :) I actually prefer it to peanut butter at the moment. Would love some recipe ideas Bega? Its smooth and not too sweet. Perfect for sandwiches too. A must try!

Avoid this stuff – Firstly this review is for Bega branded cashew spread but far as I know its the same as Kraft. Looking at the ingredients vegetable oil is before cashews ( only 25%) , this product fails simply because it really doesn't taste like cashews , more like some non descript oily/; sugary spread..... Bought it on special but still waste of $3.50

Tastes to much like hazelnut and sugar not enough like cashew nuts – I tired this because I love cashew nuts, but it tastes more like bland sweet hazelnut spread. I might try the more expensive cashew spread instead hope they put more cashews in it.

Cashew Butter too sweet – Totally agree with Hideous, and most other reviewers. This was very disappointing. started to use up their stale peanuts, resulting in stale peanut butter, so I thought i would try cashew butter. I should have guessed from the colour that the nuts had not been roasted, to give the butter a good flavour, and the excess maltodextrin made it quite disgusting. Even our dog was not very excited about sharing it.

This is an amazing, fantastic spread! – I don't understand all the bad reviews, i am in love with this spread! Its pretty much the only thing i don't get sick of having! Devastatingly i cannot find it in any more supermarkets in Wellington so far! I am very sad there is a possiblility it is gone for good ☹️

Hideous – I feel very misled - it does not taste like cashews. It is too sweet I was expecting a savoury spread. It wasn't even a nice taste and I could not give it away. This product needs to be renamed to avoid confusion. Better still removed from the shelves of supermarkets for good.

Like Nutella but without the yum – What does it taste like? Imagine you have some Nutella, then take away the hazelnut and the coco, add a hint of cashew essence. Bingo, you got this stuff which looks and tastes like cashew icing.

Too much sugar! – I purchased the Kraft Almond Spread as I'm allergic to peanuts. I usually get the Macro version, but at nearly $9 a jar, it's gotten way too expensive, so I thought I'd try this new alternative. It definitely didn't taste like nuts of any kind, it was so sickly sweet I couldn't stomach it. I'm not sure why a nut spread needs to have so much sugar in it.

Too Sweet Opportunity Lost – I bought the Almond spread hoping it might be a good replacement for peanut butter which is probably my favorite food. My wife is allergic to it though so it is not in our house. I tried it again just then and it is quite horrible because of the sweetness. Yuk.

Delish! Not as good as peanut butter – I purchased this as I have a child who is anaphylatic to peanuts. It is a great substitute! It doesn't taste like cashews or peanuts its in between. The ingrediants include cashews, almonds, hazelnuts. It definitely hit the spot for someone who has lived without for years! But nothing will replace the real thing. Thanks Kraft :)

This is horrible overly sweet and very very oily – As in the description this is disgusting. It does not taste like Cashews at all. It has a funny consistency and smell. I wrote to Kraft but they were not interested and I wanted to return it still full and they will not take refunds. I thought it was a good idea to post a review so hopefully not too many people will waste their money on it.
