ALDI Lacura Essentials Cleansing Wipes

I just love the scent and texture of these wipes. I had been using various Made in Japan make up wipes for over ten years but recently got a few of these Lacura from Aldi becos it was on sale so I gave it try. Holy grail!!! The best – These face wipes are the best thing yet. They have been my holy grail for years! I personally could not EVER live without these. I always clear the shelf out when i stock up. Never discontinue these please. They tighten your skin. They cleanse your skin without stripping your natural oils. Also having allergic reactions – I've used these wipes a few times now and last couple of times face has become red, slightly swollen and slight burning. Won't be using anymore. Show details

Be careful of allergic reaction – After using these wipes 1 time I had burning red skin which is still red and stinging after 3 days.

Absolutely terrible . The worst product ever – These wipes left my skin red raw with huge welts all over my face and a terrible burning feeling . I have never had a reaction to any product before . Effects lasted for days . These should be withdrawn from sale . Show details

Lacura Dry Skin Facial Wipes – within seconds off using these wipes, my whole face and neck started burning tried rinsing my face with cold water. Face and neck still red and blotchy after several hours. At 55 years of age I have used numerous different makes and skin types and this has never happened before. Show details

Bad chemical burns to both eyes and my face – I have really bad chemical burn to both eye areas and my face! I used them twice as I didn't realise what caused the burn until the second time! My face, under eyes and both eyelids are now starting to peel, and the burn is so bad I won't be able to leave the house for a couple of days! I even normally have sensitive skin! Really painful! A bad rash immediately and I don't need sensitive products – I usually have no issues and use general ones, no allergies. This one almost immediately made my entire face sting and it got very red and splotchy. And it didn't go away fast, even after rinsing. Not a good thing. :(

Absolute rubbish – Dry so it feels a little like sandpaper on the skin. Does not remove any makeup properly. Had to moisturise it and put cleanser into it for it to do any work. Will definitely not be repurchasing. Show details

Serendipity – It was a chance meeting. I saw the wipes and thought tea tree oil is good for your skin so I will give them a try. I used them and fell in love. My skin had never looked so good. Thank you :)

NOT FOR SENSITIVE SKIN – Please if you have sensitive skin, do not use these wipes. Fragranced nicely but perfumed products can upset sensitive skin. I have dry skin so opt for sensitive skin marketed products as they are normally most gentle, if there is no hydrating option. which burned, and I had to take an antihistamine to suppress it. Even after washing my face with my usual cleanser did not relieve my skins reaction. Overall, steer clear of these wipes if you even remotely have sensitive skin. You clearly get what you pay for here and I am hesitant to use other Lacura products as I dread having another reaction like this.

You get what you pay for which is pence – This did not remove make up, nor did it feel nice on the skin due to it having a very dry texture. I would not recommend this product to anyone even as a cheap alternative. I would not even star it given the option. Show details

Left my skin irritated – My skin was irritated and I had a raw red rash around my cheeks from these wipes. Pleasantly smelling but not worth the savings because although they are cheap, they are poor quality. Will not buy again Show details

Very dry – It is not very enough wetting for wipe away cosmetics from skin. Paper is not so wet. And hard to remove cosmetic.it is better to use with other washing liquid or washing form after use wipes. But price is cheap. Show details

Used both the makeup wipes and the face wash and they both burned my skin....literally, i would use – My skin was left extreamly dry and red it also burned my face every time i would use either the makeup wipes or the face wash, it claimed to be for "sensitive skin" but it didnt seem that way when i used it

Don't use this product! – Had a sore throat for twelve hours after breathing in the 19 ingredients listed on package. Might cleanse your skin but doesn't do your throat any good if you happen to breathe it in. So much for the Organic Tea Tree Oil!
