Battery faulted after 11 months of little to no use. I suspect that the battery has been declining in function for some time, but only have realised until the laptop has indicated that the battery has suffered a major fault, that requires it to be replaced immediately. Despite quoting Australian Consumer Law, that states if a major fault occurs… Read more
with the product a company MUST provide a full refund or replacement to the consumer, they refused to offer a refund.
Being based in a foreign country, but trading in Australia they are expected to be familiar with and follow Australian Law. Regardless, a battery faulting after 11 months of little to no use, is poor. Especially when theyre advertised as "high quality".
Customer service is a joke, as it feels youre either talking to a robot, or getting copy-paste replies from someone who doesnt care. 1 reply a day, and often the same response.
I advise anyone who considers buying from this company to seriously reconsider, as any products they sell are clearly of extremely poor quality.
If you have purchased from this company and have not gotten anywhere with returns/replacements or customer service, please lodge complaints with the ACCC, Consumer Affairs VIC, NSW Fair trading or other government bodies so that they can be dealt with accordingly.
Ordered Samsung Vacuum Battery VCA-SBT90 with bit worries after reading some of the reviews given 1* or 2* Not expecting that quick service but, Battery was received third day of order. Given exact timing with 30 minutes window by Australia Post. Connected the battery with Vacuum Cleaner and working fine. No words to express my appreciation.… Read more
Samsung doesn't have stock with 199 $ and Amazon was showing different models without much details and 36 Days of delivery time. Under the circumstance, this battery was a life saver. Already tested the compatibility and all good what they advertised. Once again give them 5* rating. Do not see person but, online business seems guaranteed.
I bought the dyad pro replacement battery from them and it came looking quite dodgy, the build quality just doesn't seem trustworthy and as expected it was a dud, couldn't hold any charge. However I gave them 3 stars because it did come quickly and when I told them about it they resolved it fairly quickly and was happy to provide a refund after I sent them photos and videos to prove that it was not working.

Avoid aolstecell.com and Laptop Battery Direct - read the boring details if you can be bothered – 25 year systems administrator, kinda know what I am talking about with computers and hardware. Brought a battery for my absolutely outstanding M1 Macbook, one of the best machines ever made, battery life incredible, lasts all day easily on the many jobs I go to, heaps of power, no noise, perfect machine and these early ones were really good value… Read more
too. (Mac haters: I administer Windows domains, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, M365, Terminal Servers etc so stick that in your pipe and smoke it :)
Original battery lasted well, I finally ordered another, bad choice from LaptopBatteryDirect. Machine cuts off at about 24% battery charge but with no Mac Low Battery warning, just instant power off. "[Name Removed]" using the following email cs03@aolstecell.com offred a 60% refund. On a few weeks old battery, wtf. Then piddled me about asking lots of stupid questions wasting my time, let me count the emails... 12 emails to end up with this choice tidbit...
"The battery lasts for 4 hours, which is normal battery life. When the battery level shows 30%, I recommend connecting the power cord to charge the battery. So the battery still can be used. I apply for a 60% refund for you, Ok ? Our battery chips were produced within 1 year."
I told her to keep the money I would rather leave a bad review and warn others.
FYI M1 Macs last like 8 or 10 hours easy, amazing.
The Mac CoconutBattery App reports manufacture date as 2015-03-30. I suspect old batteries used and a modified firmware to fudge cycle count and battery level, which is obviously wrong and why the mac suddenly dies cause it is getting fed the dud information.
Anyhoo, if you read this far you did well!
Look for another vendor and also avoid companies associated with aolstecell.com

Biggest scam site ever - Not Australian - Steals money – Aolisteele THEY ARE NOT AUSTRALIAN - THEY ARE CHINESE CRIMINALS I tried ordering through their sites checkout, somehow it managed to bypass the traditional paypal checkout and bill my credit card directly. Then the shopping cart failed to proceed any further and take my shipping/billing details for my order. Tried their live chat, no one was… Read more

I am now $82 out of pocket with no way to get my money back without locking my credit card
Never Again – Purchased a battery from these people, it was delivered within a week of when they said it would (Late, but acceptably so). However, after only 7-months of use, the battery will not charge beyond 20%. Even though it obviously still within warranty, it took several rounds of 1-email per day for the company to agree that it is still under warranty,… Read more
but they expect me to buy another battery and they will "refund half the price". I wish I had checked this site prior to purchase - do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Fast delivery and works great – I ordered a battery for Dell Precision M6800. It was on sale for ~$80. It arrived 2 days later. It works fine. Seriously, as at the time of writing this review, there are 14 Karens trying to complain to their respective Lizzies about having to wait a little longer for delivery during the pandemic. "It's about choice. My delivery is more… Read more

Grow up. You really think a single warehouse is going to stock enough batteries to cover every single person and every single brand and model of laptop.. you're a bunch of whining little babies. You have no respect, no appreciation, and are completely clueless about real world challenges.
They obviously DID have stock of mine and sent it out from Chullora, NSW. Ordered 27 July 00:27. Arrived 29 July ~14:30.
Attached photos for proof. This includes: the PayPal receipt; shipping package showing local postage; battery details; charging aspect; discharging aspect; the actual battery; comparison OEM battery.
I've only found 1 issue so far: it fits a little too snug, so it's a bit challenging to remove from the laptop. That should loosen up over time if i keep taking it out for whatever reason, as the rubbing surfaces should wear.
Recap: 1. Whinging brush turkeys leaving bad reviews. Get out, and stop being so petty. 2. Batteries are fine.

Smooth Order & Installation – Razer Blade Advanced 15 Battery – Successfully ordered and installed a replacement battery for the Razer Blade Advanced 15. I noticed a few negative reviews on this site, which I suspect may be due to user error or incorrect product selection. In my case, the ordering process was smooth, delivery was prompt, and the battery installed without any issues. It works perfectly so far. Would recommend.
Honoured their return policy – Despite fitting perfectly in my Dell laptop, and powering the laptop, the laptop would not charge the battery because it was not an original Dell OEM battery. Seems Dell has a microchip to ensure you only buy their original and overpriced batteries, and the laptop checks this. So credit to Laptop Battery Direct they promptly honoured their return… Read more
policy provided a refund to me, including refunding the postage. So I give them 4 out of 5 stars as the battery worked, but seemingly my laptop is designed to enrich Dell. Dell gets 0 out of 5 stars for engaging in anti-competitive behaviour which I am sure is now illegal to reject non-OEM parts.
Everything Excellent – Found their website easy to use and explained the different battery options clearly for my laptop. Fast delivery, well packaged. When I had issues (I installed the battery incorrectly ... my fault) they were able to be contacted via live chat and provided instructions to fix. The battery performs above my expectations.

Dodgy, very dodgy, lost my money – Ordered battery for my Lenovo Ideapad 700, they sent me the wrong one. When asked by email, to send me the right one, their representative*, replied by email for me to buy "the right one" and keep the wrong one and then they would refund the monies paid for the wrong one sent to me. not to pay for another one up front. I said this in an email (only way to contact them), Have not heard from them since despite emails sent by me to try and get either a refund or a new battery (The right one) sent to me.. My take, stay away from LaptopBatteryDirect/AolsteCell, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. I have written off the monies that I have lost to them.
* Note to Product Review the representative that I dealt with by email at LaptopBatteryDirect, had the name of J-------- Z----. Those initials (JZ) are on Product Review giving LaptopBatteryDirect, a 5 Star review (4 Posts).
Failed to deliver. Changed terms behind my back. No contact. Tried to fob me off and fish for personal information, – Ordered a battery they said would ship in 7 days from a NSW warehouse. Paid. 12 days later, still hadn't arrived. No contact phone number on their site. After an hour waiting, got a Live Chat rep. They'd unilaterally decided to switch the supplier to China. Their own tracker said the battery had dispatched 12 days ago and promptly vanished. They… Read more
hadn't bothered to get in touch with me at any point. Their email system apparently complained about the email address I gave them, despite it being valid, and they didn't check to realize that they'd added an extra period in the address. The rep wasn't prepared to do anything to resolve the issue, except suggesting I wait another two weeks and maybe something would turn up. Or not. Who knows.
There are other suppliers of that exact battery in Australia who could have overnighted it. Meanwhile; two weeks of silence and behind-the-scenes changing of terms from LBD (aka Aolstecell), followed by customer service that was nothing except trying to tell me that in order to address their behaviour and failure to deliver, I would have to provide additional personal information (nothing to do with purchasing a product), after which they also wouldn't do anything.
Not to mention: If it wasn't for me copying the order number off the website after I bought from them, I wouldn't even have had that much to take back to them; it was never sent to me. Although reverse-searching their address brings up some other company called "ABNapplyonline", which is apparently in the same suite in the same building (and has a really... interesting... list of claims on their website), so maybe calling them and asking for LBD might get somewhere. Or not.
EDIT: And now they've tossed through a refund against my instructions. Nothing to even suggest any kind of compensation or even apology for their actions over the past two weeks. Because apparently expecting professionalism or actual customer service is completely out of the question.
If you have to buy from them use PayPal – The online listing was misleading. Ended up with wrong battery. I contacted them directly got no reply. Contacted through PayPal. They asked to send back the battery with tracking. Paid 1/4 of the battery price for the postage. They have already received battery 3 days ago. I haven't got the refund yet. Update: battery finally received.

Shocking customer service – Replacement Dell laptop battery didn't work and their BOT customer service email writer refused to take my complaint seriously - made it almost impossible to achieve a return and refund without spending hours proving the battery didn't work. Beware ever using these people who also market themselves as Aolstecell.
Poor communication skills, don't follow their own procedures, poor privacy protocols – I recently purchased a Lenovo IdeaPad 510-15IKB-(80SV) replacement batter from LaptopBatteryDirect. When it arrived I realised I had bought the wrong battery. When I contacted them about returning the battery I received an email saying "As for the first wrong battery, could you please keep it for a while? It is one of the best sellers, and we… Read more
will inform you to ship it out when another native client needs it in the near future, and then refund you this order after shipment."
I thought this was odd but agreed. I assumed it meant I wouldn't have to pay for return postage and, would in fact, be reimbursed for the postage I would pay when sending on the battery to the next customer. I didn't stop to think at the time that they should not actually be sharing the personal details of another customer.
A short time later I was sent the details of a customer. After posting the battery and providing the tracking number, I received a refund, minus a 'restocking' fee. I was not reimbursed for the postage. I contacted the company and explained. I received emails quoting their return policy. I pointed out that I had been sent another email saying, "Thanks for your help" which meant they acknowledged I had saved them time and effort. I also pointed out that they had not followed their own return procedure and the new customer had also paid them postage. This is just straight profit and for a service they did not provide. The reply I received said this: "Dear customer,
The metric for processing chargebacks is the reason for returning rather than the return address. Thanks for your understanding."
I do not even know what this means!
So basically, appalling service and difficult to understand communication, no concern for customer privacy, and quite happy to take money for a service not provided.
Refund service – They sent me a battery for my 11" HP. The battery, unfortunately, was bent at one corner so it stuck out from the bounding contour of the little computer. I returned the unit to them after sending photos and videos of the defective component. (It should be said that I tested the battery for a week and it performed better than the one I was replacing.) After some minor wrangling the company made the refund and so I give them 3 stars.
Couldn't be bothered – Call yesterday about 4:40pm to make a payment over the phone (they close at 5pm) only to be told sorry we're packing up ready to go home, will never use their service again!!
This company should get sue somehow RUN away do not waste your time – I had returned the faluty laptop battery by post it back to NSW Form Brisbane, AFter the faluty battery arrived the destination as seller provided, NO REFUND as they said in the email. Try to contact them and there are no responding at all, WHAT A C!!!
Worst company I have dealt with. Scam? – I have ordered a replacement battery for my Dell Notebook. This was on the 26th of June. Today is the 6th of July. not in Australia as shown. They are a pack of crooks and give China a worth name as it has already. Do not buy from this mob.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY – Absolutlely pathetic company trying to masquerade as an Australian business and stating products will ship from Australia. All lies, they ship out of hong kong or china and you will not see your purchase for a very long time if ever. These guys should not be allowed to operate in Australia. Do not waste your money with these cheats!
Never Again – Recently bought battery. Correctly installed but shut off the computer intermittently for no reason. At times when attached to charging it will not even charge the battery. Lasted for about a month. Do not purchase I would get original parts even though it would cost more. Not worth the hassle of buying crap
Warning - don't buy from them – I received a battery replacement for my laptop which took ages to get to me. Notified them straight away that it wasn't keeping its charge. They never responded to my emails. I had to raise a dispute with Paypal for them to respond. I ended up returning the battery and then they never refunded the full amount. Luckily Paypal put in the difference. Very dodgy people- dont deal with them.

also give you a Chinese tracking website link, with all written in Chinese letters. My parcel got to the airport (apparently), but was then refused carriage by aircraft (it's a battery??). Fortunately PayPal could see the web of lies spun by this company and gave me a full refund.
They don't respond and don't honor the delivery time – Purchase a battery pack for a laptop, the paypal receipt came from Shenzhen Aolisite Electronic Co., Ltd with all chinese details. 3 weeks later still waiting for their advertised 5 business days delivery. Its more than 3 week order not receive – Time of order its clear shows in stock Australia, After payment dedicated it start shipment from hong kong. Total fruad because if i have to order from hong Kong then it will be more cheap from ebay etc.... The reason i order here just i need it within 3 business days amd i pay for delivery as well.
Battery only lasted 6 months & poor customer service – The battery that I purchased arrived bent as it was not well packed, but once straightened worked fine. LaptopBatteryDirect/AolsteCell made me jump through hoops to prove that the battery was indeed ready to be sent back. … Read more
Once I finally got it through that the battery was faulty, they wanted to repair the battery, but because it was already half way through the warranty this would "not meet my expectations" and suggested that I buy a new one from them, send the old one back and once tested, if found to be truly faulty, they would refund me half of the cost of the new battery.
Firstly I would have expected for the battery to be replaced with a new one, and secondly I have little faith that I would actually receive my refund after purchasing a new one.
In the end I decided to just buy a new one from a competitor, and not buy from LaptopBatteryDirect again.
Just be aware that they will first try to repair your battery and will only refund you the portion of the cost of a new battery according to how far you are through the warranty. I'm pretty sure that that is not standard under Australian Consumer Law, but I got tired of their excuses.
UPDATE (06/12/2021) - I also left a review on their website to which they have replied stating that they have refunded me half of the cost, but as yet, and as expected, they have not made the refund. I also can not reply to their comment on their website as their site does not permit it.
UPDATE (07/12/2021) - After a bit of prodding they did send me the refund of half the cost of the battery. As a result I will raise my star rating from 1 to 2.

Beware of this Company – I ordered a laptop battery. Was sent an email saying it was on it's way with a tracking number. After a week, nothing arrived and the tracking number said it did not exist. No guarantees on quality – Beware, you probably won't get anything that will last for a long time. Mine lasted way less longer than the original battery did. I did use this place to get a replacement battery for my HP omen 17. Unfortunately the battery only lasted just over a year before it swelled up and made the laptop bulge dangerously. Being out of warranty by literally a fortnight, customer service didn't even apologise. Instead they straight up sent the link to the same battery and told me to buy it again haha. A $100 battery that only works up until the warranty period.
Pretty sure they've rigged the reviews appearing on the actual website, because why wouldn't you if it's your own website. Chinese company/staff with an Australian warehouse, you buy at your own risk.
Not an Australian company – Everything on there website would suggest that you are dealing with an Australian company, but alas you are not. Customer service pretty good – Customer service was pretty good. I required a part urgently, and after purchasing it they advised me that there would be a lead time as it was an older part and the Australian warehouse didn't have the stock (Honestly, that's definitely fair enough). They have a 30 day money back guarantee, and from my experience, they seem to honour it.
They sell you stuff but have no customer support – If you have ever purchased a battery for a laptop there is always a chance you'll get it wrong. I guess these guys love that. I politely offered to return the incorrect battery through numerous emails at my own expense, not one response. Useless.
Terrible product – Unfortunately I only did more research on Shenzhen Aolisite when the battery I bought from them for my MSI GS70 doesn't last longer than 10minutes within a week of installing. If you haven't bought yet hopefully this review will save you making the same mistake with these chaps. Avoid at all costs.
