No point of giving further reviews when they have 1 Star. we got absolutely bad photos recently for our kids. next time we don't get school photos from you. one son like brushing teeth and other was like His upper lip is rolled inward. if someone look at this, they will definitely ask, "is he all right now?" please delete their photos from the system.

Absolute poor customer service. No email sent confirming they had posted photos. When I followed up as to the status they advised they had sent them out previously. Although their own terms and conditions state they will assist when you with missing items however I got no assistance - rather told to go to the post office myself and ask. Do not recommend and will ensure the school does not use again as well.

Absolute joke of a company. Zero Quality, Zero Value, Zero Service – Paid $50 for digital prints expecting 3 different high resolution quality photos as specified by the flyer provided by the school and ordering website. However, was provided the exact same photo 3 times and photo was only 1.6mb and was blurry when zoomed in. Anyone could've taken a better photo on a phone. Absolutely misleading for customers and clearly didn't deliver on what was promised.

Hated the photos – Hated our childcare photos. Looked rushed and no effort with the kids at all. Paid $35 for a picture printed in a cardboard.

Disgusting company taking advantage of families! – Disgusting customer service! Photos were horrible, Photographer told my kid to "smile with her teeth together" and the photos looked like she was forced into a very unnatural and uncomfortable position. When approached the company the person I spoke to was rude, condescending and completely dismissive of my concerns stating that her "photographer… Read more

never said that" telling me that my kids are lying! I asked if there were other photos that could be sent instead and she told me that it is the best that was there, I wasn't even offered the option of a refund!. To say the least i am Angry, disappointed and fuming over the over inflated cost of such terrible unusable photos especially on my daughter's 1st year of school.

Exploitative – Their pricing structure is utterly unfair, designed to exploit customers by pushing them towards the highest prices. Their more budget-friendly options lack basic features like school group photos. It's clear they know they have a monopoly and they're taking full advantage of it. It's high time schools stood up and said NO to Leading Image's exploitative practices!

Worst School Photo – Very poor customer service. They doesn't know how to reply to school parents. Even no greetings on email

Rude, incompetent, poor quality – Looking through reviews, really not surprised, no one has a single nice word to say! My kids have gotten school photos every year and this is the first time through this company and the worst quality photos I've ever received. I made special arrangements prior that I checked and double checked to make sure the names were correct and they still got… Read more

them wrong! It's a big issue regarding identity and a breach of privacy. They provided a partial refund after rudely hanging up on me and accusing me of abusing them when I got upset, telling me I wasn't the customer, the school was. Other company's present the group photo in a nice folder, these are printed on small, single-sided, cheap photo paper and don't even look clear. Incompetent and substandard, really hope the school changes companies next year, we still have 2 more years at the school.

BAD DESCRIPTION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE – Would be simple to write in which package you have the groop photo !!!! Very bad description

Terrible photographs and clearly very focused on profit – The packages are presented to make the business as much money as possible rather than offer affordable options for families. Their photography has been really bad during my experience with them, too.

Limited payment options… – Once again here we are they have decided to go cashless, and no other payment options for people who don’t have the cards they require and I prefer to pay by cash! The old system was not broke so why try to fix it??? And looking at some of these other reviews paying online is no better than paying by CASH!! Forcing the hands of people to pay online is absolutely appalling and if I could have left a negative (no star) review I would have!!

Terrible, avoid at all cost! – Call them because their online system won't work Person on phone not interested in helping or listening Totally rude and condescending Given how much you pay they should do much better!

School needs to find new photographer service – Not the best photos, background colour clashes with uniform, photographer didn't follow requests....QLD schools need to find another supplier.

Worst School Photos – In 7 years of schooling, we've never received such TERRIBLE, OFF CENTRE photos. Her individual image, she is photographed as if she is on a lean. Downloaded to digital image to edit and centre ourselves, which we shouldn't have to. She is a good 8 degrees off being straight. How can you get that so wrong. I called to complain, they reviewed her… Read more

photos. Called me back and said, as long as the child is in frame with their uniform showing, head in shot that the photos are fine. Basically it's ok she's leaning, WTAF!! We don't pay $44 for our child to be photographed leaning, and our girl told us the photographer was the one directing her how to stand and where her head should go. We aren't the only parents in the school, whose received poor quality photos of their child. CRAP PHOTOGRAPHY ALONG WITH CRAP EXPLANATION. They won't be redoing photos either, so in order to get a refund. We have to send images back to receive. No replacement photos at all. Which sucks, first year of highschool and no professional photos to mark this year.

Worst photos ever – In 15 years these are the worst photos ever by this company & they went against a parents wishes along with medical that my son had to wear his glasses due to light sensitive & bad eyes & they made him remove his glasses once I was gone. The quality is pore & not 1 good photo in the 5 packs I ordered a waist of money

Family photos – Gave them a call to ask about the family photos all I got was rudeness and hung up on. I only wanted to ask about the digital download and the woman was rude. I will never recommend this company as they are rude rude rude rude people. I will go without school photos not worth dealing with this rude company.

If I could give negative stars I would – My children's schools have been using this company for a few years now. There is always an issue. I always have to ring to sort out an online issue that prevents ordering. Their digital downloads are hit and miss at best. The latest is that they have lost half of the photos and they have to be retaken. They have been holding on to our money for… Read more

over 3 months now and no photos in sight. They also "touch up" photos which I find in very poor taste, I want my kids to look like they do and if that is a dirt splotch on their face, so be it. Their packages are extremely expensive for the formalistic photos they produce. I would actively canvas your schools to avoid this company at all costs.

Misleading – I was given a piece of paper with the Access Key, which does not work. When I phoned and asked them about it they said that the Access Key has expired eventhough there is no date on the paper as to when the photos need to be ordered by. I was told that I cannot order the photos now and will have to wait for them to provide another Access Key later… Read more

in the year but they cannot specify when. Ordering the photos at a later date will cost more and there will also be a postage charge. On the same day I had ordered photos from another photographer at my other child's school (both photos were taken a couple of days apart) and I had absolutely no issues at all ordering the photos - the difference in dealing with the two companies highlighted Leading Image's really bad practices and totally inflexible attitude. I will be recommending to the school not to use this company again and will be supplying the details for the other company.

CURIOUS BUSINESS PRACTICE – We were given a slip of paper with an access key to order online. No problem there. Visited the slightly clunky website and selected the digital download option which offered "1 x High Resolution Portrait Download" Attempted to select the background, but whichever background was clicked made no difference to the displayed images! During the… Read more

checkout process we were billed $5 for postage. I phoned Leading Image to enquire why we needed to pay for a digital download link and was told that the link would be mailed to our home address, despite there being a note in the ordering process to the effect that digital products would be delivered by email. No possibility of previewing the final image; not sure what happens if we do not like the photo!!

VERY LIMITED PAYMENT OPTIONS – Lack of options to pay from our savings account is very dissapointing. I don't have a credit card - do not need extra fees. Cash not an option either (school informed of doing online orders only). DIRECT BANK DEPOSIT/Cash OPTION or PAYPAL would have been very useful for me today. Instead, no photos this year I guess... I have no alternatives,… Read more

nowhere else to turn to. Spoke with your staff and apparently no options. Thats where it all ends so I am here writing it all out here for you to see.

Makes me wonder how many more are going through this too? What kind of world we live in...borrow the money from the bank or loose kind?

Can't give 0 – They are so selfish, they ignored my child to make their life easier. Now I miss out on the same thing we have done every year since my kids started school. Only got a one star cause I can't give 0. Very disappointed

They will take your money and exclude your children – Worst photography company for schools. Money hungry and will lie and redirect the problem to have clean hands. If you can try spend your money else where. Thanks for listening.

Their prices are unreasonably expensive – Way too expensive photos. There are so many great photo printing services that are much cheaper than this one. I just have no choice but to use this one because my kids school use this company. It's a real ripoff to be honest

So rude and uncompromising – I have bought 3 sets of photos each year over a seven year period. Despite the fact that their photos are of poor quality and over priced I have no other choice but to go with them. Each year I do a sibling photo and this year I missed the cut off for ordering by 1 hour. I sent an email and spoke to Georgia asking if they would make an exception… Read more

and just take a sibling photo and i would bring the money in prior to them taking the photo. They just refused.

I was not asking them to make a special trip to the school to take a photo, they are there, they are taking other sibling photos.

I asked for the reason and Georgia said its because we have already printed the report. I asked if she could add me manually to bottom of list and her answer was just NO.

Customer service - extremely poor Quality of Photos - Poor Value for money - Poor - especially because we are in age of digital photography. How do you justify charging so much per package ?

I will forward this complaint to the Ombudsman.

Very disappointed – Our school has been using leading image for a while now and to say i was again disappointed with the images and the options available is an understatement. I bought the photo's when my child started prep but was not happy so didn't buy again till this year as my child is in grade 6 and wanted to have the class photo as a reminder so i thought i… Read more

would give them another go. Unfortunately i didn't see an improvement. I find the photo options very expensive and not great options, you end up paying for a lot of extras you don't want. Offering a single shot would not be hard and make it more affordable for some parents. I hope in the future they take on board some of the suggestions and improve.

2 years in a row....Blurry photos – Our school changed photographers to Leading Image Photography 2 years ago and since then all our school portraits have been blurry and fuzzy. improve the quality of the image. We are extremely disappointed with Leading Image and I hope our school changes to a better photography company.

Total ripoff – For years, Leading Image has been ripping of the parents of school kids. In this day and age, with digital photography, there is no reason why this service should cost so much. Leading Image tries to justify their exorbitant pricing by adding "trinkets" like an additional 6 passport size photos of your child. Like anyone has a need for 6 passport… Read more

size photos. Each and every year, they release their "package deals" that range from $30 to $65 per child plus extras... Most people just want a single photo and perhaps one of their child's class but there is no option available for a single photo and the cheapest option available with a class photo is $45 per child. Add to this the additional cost of a family photo (starting at $10 for a single photo) and the minimum cost to buy a school photo for two children with a single family photo is $70. $100 if you want a class photo too. It's just a blatant ripoff. Leading Edge are aware that all parents want a school photo of their kids each year. The fact that they don't offer a single photo option at a reasonable price is nothing more than a money grab.
