Leifheit Parat Royal Stainless Steel Roll Holder

Reloading the rolls is a disaster.The aluminium keeps tearing. The directions are difficult to understand.There is no proof of purchase now .This item was purchased in the specials bin.What aluminium alfoil is used in the two roller plastic dispenser,I use Glad foil. Isn't strong .

students are taught to confirm engineering principles with a valid, repeatable testing regime. Leifheit have obviously put profit over consumer rights…a simply shameless corporate performance.

Horrible – This Parat Royal replaced a plastic Parat which I'd had for many years. I'm really disappointed in this replacement. It is garbage. Neither the transparent or foil cut evenly. The cutters don't slide easily. I'm very disappointed in this and will in future just use the boxes the wrap and foil come in.

Absolute rubbish - find another brand – We had the plastic Leifheit holder for 20 years until it broke, we replaced it with this one thinking the brand would be the same quality. WRONG! Its a useless piece of junk. The wrap and foil dont feed properly and the cutters just dont cut AT ALL. After reading all the negative reviews on here we decided to just send it back. Edit. So after we took the Leifheit dispenser down I went on ebay and bought a no name dispenser, but it looks just like the original plastic one except it has a compartment above for plastic bags and tape dispenser. Well blow me down it cuts like nothing I've ever seen before, even better than our original Leifheit. AND it only cost me $29 and it was delivered next day.

Worst roll dispenser – When our Leifheit plastic Rolly Mobil roll dispenser turned yellow after 10 years in use without any problems, we decided to upgrade it to the Leifheit stainless steel product. If you don't mind having a s***t fight every time you need some ALU or cling foil, you can have mine FOC as it goes to the metal recycling heap.

Look for something else – Reviews by Jamie and Paul S in 2017 are fully supported. I tried a number of times to use this appliance and find it to be totally useless, poorly designed and frankly not fit for purpose. single piece of useable product. A previous Leifheit roll holder purchased many years ago was excellent and easy to use. The new product does not represent value for money in any shape or form and I will try to return it to the seller for a refund.

good and last longer". Wrong.

Both film and foil are impossible to feed properly and consistently. It requires constant resetting of the film and foil rolls with is moderately fiddly. The flimsy plastic paper towel holder underneath loses the plot if the roll is new and then the roll falls on the floor.

It's rubbish and I would only recommend it to someone who likes fixing things all the time and every time.

PS ; This review has prompted me to get in touch with Leifheit to let them know about my experience. If I hear back from them I'll let you know how I go. Only fair.

Please don't buy. It's an absolute waste of money – Look...I review a lot of stuff I buy and I give as honest a review as I can. to be pretty good. The alfoil and the plastic jam up and the paper roll dispenser is fiddly and sometimes lets the roll fall off. I strongly - no - very strongly suggest you look for something else.

Leifheit - if you are reading this - why did you change the design of something that used to work so well into something that doesn't?
