Surprisingly good sound – I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this, but considering the size and price this has surprisingly good quality sound. Doing a subwoofer test, the drivers respond all the way down to 50Hz which for something of this calibre is remarkable. The overall audio quality won't blow your mind but it's crisp and pleasant, not tinny or hollow like many… Read more

low-end boomboxes. Plays CDs, has an aux-in port and an FM tuner, although you need a stronger signal than usual to get good reception.

Expected better – It was difficult to find a portable CD player in shops. I saw this product in a brochure and bought it. It's weight is very light, which makes it feel cheap and implies that it won't last very long. The instructions do not read well (bad English) and the power cord does not easily fit into the CD player. The box it comes in does not say it needs 4 batteries, which it does need if you do not have power. Show details

Very average – Feels cheap. Every now and again, the cd will skip from the current song to the next track for no reason. The cd is not scratched and it you play exactly the same song again, it will play fine. It's very odd. Show details

Great Value Product at the right price – We needed a radio CD player (boombox) for my Wife's workout/aerobics room and this unit was ideal. Easy to operate and a very good sound for an inexpensive unit. Very good value for money without all the high tech bluetooth and WiFi paraphernalia of those very complicated units on the market today. Well done Lenoxx for producing a product using the "KISS" philosophy (keep it simple stupid). Show details

Great for your Mum or Gran! – This little player looks nice, sounds pretty good, it's easy to use & well priced. When my 81yo Mum wanted "something to play my cds on without having to use the computer" I looked at maybe 5 before deciding on this one. It's an 'in-betweener'. ie. It won't suit a hardcore audiophile but it definitely doesn't sound tinny or crappy. I recommend it if you just want a small, basic machine that sounds pretty good.

Great little unit – I wanted a radio CD player for my shed and this little unit fits the bill perfectly. Easy to operate and quite a good sound for a cheap unit. Good value for money.
