If I could give this a zero star rating I would. I bought a gift for my spouse of a tailor made shirt, which they made it sound like was made at the store. Turns out it was ordered from Taiwan and due to shipping (I'm guessing) was still not in 3 months later. I asked for a refund of the $150 and was told that it would be mailed. Another month has… Read more

passed and I can't get a call or text back from Roberto and like others was told from the father that "he doesn't know how to give money back or write a check, Roberto must do that". When I continued that Roberto was ghosting me he hung up on me. What kind of customer service is this? I also used them in the past for hemming and should have known when they got that wrong on one pair of slacks to not use this business anymore. I will continue to follow up on the $ as it's not chump change but would highly recommend to anyone thinking of using Leone's to think twice, then think again! While they can be charming and try to use this to their advantage when you need real customer service it's not only lacking but extremely rude. The only reason I will darken their door again is to get my money back!

Outrageous rip off – Inconsistent and mega expensive prices - no difference to other dry cleaning - never again will I use them - outrageous and no care for loyalty of clients and when I said it cost more than the item they didn’t care

My expensive dress from Paris was rolled up into a ball and was damaged upon pick up – I have taken my garments to Leons for about a year. Each time I have collected my expensive garments they are not cleaned properly. I have politely asked for them to be cleaned to completion. My dry cleaning bills are in the hundreds. I chose to continue to trust the service would get better. I took a thousand dollar dress from Paris and politely… Read more

asked if they would clean it thoroughly as I was going away and could not bring it back. The owner called me angrily on the phone and told me to come back and get my dress. It was screwed up into a ball and damaged on the counter. I am so upset at how he has acted and how he treated my property. I picked it up from the counter while he was shouting at me and I only said thank you and left. He had another man at the counter with him and I was alone in the store.

Terrible and rude service – It's with disappointment to leave this review. I used Leon's years ago for my wedding dress and they did such a good job. But this time was very different. I had two white Aje dresses, one with some sweat stains and the other with some discolouration form another dry cleaner messing it up. When I went in to drop them off, I explained the situation… Read more

and asked if they thought they could get both out. The guy at the desk went to ask the dry cleaner and the dry cleaner said it would be fine and they would get them out.

Upon collection, the dresses were the same. When I went back inside to raise the issue noting that I had asked when I dropped them off whether they could get them out and they said yes, the lady there with short blonde hair replied saying I had a sweat problem so it was really my fault. When I said that is unusual given I had gotten the dresses dropped off within days of wearing them and that I've never had this issue before (the dry cleaners have always been able to clean adequately even if there were sweat marks), the lady quietly replied "when you have a sweat problem, there's nothing we can do. Maybe you should wear cotton pads under your arms next time".

Firstly, this doesn't explain why the other dress couldn't be cleaned which didn't have a sweat issue. Secondly, why did the dry cleaner when I dropped them off say they could get it out. It's extremely disappointing to have dropped off 2 x Aje dresses and spent a fortune on dry cleaning to have them returned looking exactly the same.

There is a severe lack of customer service and understanding, with no value for money. The manner in which this lady just threw it back on me without caring was very rude. It's not worth your time or money going here.

POST DRY CLEANING UPDATE I took the dresses home after being told it was all my fault due to my "sweat problem" and immediately soaked them briefly in Vanish and gently hand scrubbed the stains and discolouration with Exit soap. I wasn't sure if it would work, but at this point I had nothing to lose as the dresses were unwearable in their current state. I then put them in the washing machine on a cold delicate wash no spin despite the need to dry clean only at least one of them.

The stains and discolouration are now ENTIRELY GONE from both dresses. I was then worried they may have shrunk on me given the care instructions. Thankfully neither of them have shrunk and they are both back to their original state.

I will however need to take them back for a third dry clean as one of them in particular needs professional pressing as well.

It is extremely disappointing that I wasted my money here especially after being told they could get the stains out. When realising they had not honoured their word and raising the issue immediately, I was then personally insulted with an accusation which in the end was clearly far from the truth.

Leon's should be ashamed, particularly given the customer service response.

Terrible service! – Terrible service: “The Girl” and “Girl” rather than using name/courteous alternative. Inconsistencies between seamstress and front desk pricing. Boasts “...we have a loyal customer base” so unconcerned about disgruntled customer.

Watch out for prices – We don't have many options when it comes to finding reliable dry cleaners in Brisbane, nor in Sydney for that matter. I believe Leon's got a good reputation overall compared to other shops, so I've taken my clothes (nothing super expensive like a wedding dress, but not cheap either) to them on multiple occasions. I didn't tell them about small… Read more

stains inside the dress that are barely visible from the outside, thinking they would treat them since according to reviews I read Leon's was an expert. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The second time I brought it in, I mentioned about the stains and they took care of it. However, the stains were still there. I don't blame them if these stains were impossible to remove but I'd rather they told me the truth. Having said that, the quality of their job is pretty good overall. They haven't damaged/ruined my dresses yet.

My only issue with this establishment is the vague/arbitrary pricing. I was charged different amounts for the same dress on more than 3 visits. Not just a few dollars, it was like a $20 difference. No special option was selected. The last I asked about it, they said previous staff made an error and offered me a discount. I believe a regular dress starts from $45. Wish they published their price list, even if that were only for guidance.

The staff is always polite and courteous but some of them seem a little trying too hard and come across a bit weird/fake.

Charged $155 to ruin a $750 suede jacket – Called to discuss what they had done to my jacket. A person named Brendan didnt want to know about it and hung up on me. Went into the store and Brendan stayed out the back, let his assistant tell us he prides himself on his work and he doesnt take responsibility. State of the jacket: faded all round, didnt remove any of the stains and due to… Read more

the fading it has brought the stains out even more. Left more stains on it which appear like water droplets.

Amazing work – I had an archival collection of uniforms and hats drycleaned to help in preserving them for future generations. The result was impressive. Some of the items were fragile and in poor condition but saved for displays due to the care given by Leon's Fine Dry Cleaning.

Terrible mending service – A simple mending job ended up looking terrible with chunky stitching. When I approached them about it they said the stitching was good and couldn't see a problem with it. I had previously had a similar tear and took it to another seamstress who was fantastic so I knew what it should look like but unfortunately the lady had retired. Leon's were… Read more

very stubborn and rude. I now have to find somewhere else to fix it. Would definitely not recommend their mending services.

Condescending staff and unsatisfactory results – Staff condescending and unwilling to review the work even though the customer was asked if they were satisfied. Simply refused to look at the unattended marks and said they were satisfied and nothing more can or will be done. Disgraceful service. Whilst I was there, two out of five customers left disgruntled. Staff are proficient at fending off criticism which only shows they are well practiced at receiving it.

Saved my outfit! Highly recommend having Leon’s on Speed Dial – I had a brand new jumpsuit that I put on for my event. Upon putting on my makeup, my foundation squirted all over it. I was panicked, my outfit was ruined. I tried everything! Dishwashing detergent, soda water, blotting for what felt like forever and nothing worked. I called Leon’s at 8am in the morning, they had it back to brand new, pressed… Read more

and ready to wear just in time for my event, which was at 12!

I can not be more thankful and pleased with the result! Leon’s is worth every cent! Truly the most professional Dry Cleaning service in Brisbane! Thank you!!!

I do not recommend Leon's Dry Cleaning – When looking for a dry cleaner, I did not care to pay premium dollar for a premium service. So when I googled for the most expensive dry cleaner in Brisbane, Leon's Dry Cleaning popped right up. It was the worst mistake I made. They promise to take great care of your most prized possessions and destroy them in the process. I took in a designer,… Read more

Steven Khalil wedding dress and veil only to have it returned with pulls along the bottom of the dress, the trims cut off and the teeth on the veil all broken off and melted over the veil. Keeping a long story short, I do not recommend Leon's Dry Cleaning at all. There was no compensation for a dress and veil that was well over $10,000 and worst of all, not apology - even after hearing that the owner knew about the issue and refusing to talk to me. With all your top end designers like Steven Khalil, J'aton Couture etc - don't risk it. Take your fine items elsewhere, unfortunately in this case, paying top-dollar didn't mean top work, you may as well press/hand wash them yourself. If you want to risk it, I paid on my Credit Card so my bank reversed the charge due to them not holding up to their end of the service.
