Unfortunately, I would avoid this company at all costs. I’ve had a client with this company for over a year. The pay invoices in consistently and can take over 30 days to process one invoice. That’s been multiple times they have had two invoices and nearly receiving third one without paying. You have to constantly chase up your invoices and now… Read more

they will not refund receipts if you run out of something, the client needs. They are horrible to deal with and nobody knows what’s going on. They wasted a large percentage of the Client package arranging trials with different products that the client didn’t need and notes documentation system is painful. It’s sad to say that I have nothing nice to say about this company.

So many complaints... I vote for getting rid of the Service Providers they are just fee hungry vultures that have no care for the clients they are meant to be servicing and only pay lip service that they do... and their actions confirm this as facts… Read more

everyday. Many of the clients are so terrified to speak up that they will be cut off or bullied and they are right that is exactly what they do. I have had my funding withheld and been treated like a fool, dismissed and belittled and accused of abusing their staff for asking for better. I have been left without the means to shower and still have over $2700 in reimbursements being withheld like extortion since the day I submitted my complaint. They claim my care since 2024 is suddenly non-compliant without me being notified.

Follow-up  · The Harsh Reality Behind the "Care" Industry It is time to look past the polished marketing brochures and face the facts: many Home Care Service Providers have morphed into fee-hungry vultures. They have zero genuine care for the vulnerable clients they are legally mandated to support. Every single day, their real-world actions prove that their… Read more

Very disappointing experience with Let’s Get Care since December 2025. My mother and I have been put through unnecessary stress at a time when we needed timely and practical support. What should have been a supportive service became an added burden for both of us during an already difficult time. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution other families to think very carefully before signing up.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - SUPPORT WORKERS UNPAID - NON-PERFORMANCE – LGC charges over $300 pm for HOMCP3. That is 16% . Can I eliminate LGC and go direct? Can I also eliminate the Support Worker Provider, and find my own Workers? I am fed up with the non-performance of LGC. If so how?

Ageing with a HCP – I need an approved Provider, currently Let's Get Care, to manage my HCP to allow me to maximise the actual number of hours support. That is reviewed frequently by me as the industry of caring matures. All good, however Let's Get Care only service self-managed clients thus for me not suitable for long term care as I know I will progress to needing a fully managed provider.

Annoying providers – Very inexperienced and annoying. frustrating. If you pay for the item its ok though once you start forwarding the invoices to LGC they are questioned. Feed up with having to explain everything even though it’s consistent care. I hope the gov review bad providers and eliminate them we don’t need them why pay fees to become frustrated and it’s also costly even though it’s a self managed fund. Not sure any provider is better than the other all I know they take a great amount of your funding to do nothing. Though I’m in the process of looking for another. Let’s Get Care they sounds great low fees self managed though when you try to utilise the funding it’s s nightmare they hold onto it and do not care how desperate you are. I don’t usually like to mention names though once you are dealing with a care worker for some reason your are forwarded to another person some holistic person by the name of Wendy please keep away she will do your head in. She will tell you even though has no idea what you are going through or need that you do not need items that are required over analysing with no idea. She will tell you something then deny she said it please record all the conversations as a back up.if LGC recommend this person please do yourself a favour and refuse. Regarding the funding my concerns are high making me wonder what they are doing with it you are better off paying a little more, to be less frustrated and more satisfied. I will be writing to the Government forwarding all my letters of concerns and LGC response letters to me. Hopefully with enough complaints they either change their ways or they need to no longer be contracted to be a provider. Please advise others of this nightmare provider to not sign up, save them the stress. Keep Away !!! Quoted from another reviewer yes very true I’m also going through the same ordeal

Then start demanding QUOTES for every single little task, when I already provided a detailed document with estimated costs and always coming in lower than estimates. Start demanding details for little things when it's clear what it is. Denying legitimate health receipts for someone with high level L4 needs with dementia supplement.

Enough is Enough they need to go !!!! Over their BULLYING !!!!

Proof there is genuine concerns

clients and if the client exercises their right to vary their services, they simply reject the invoices and refuse to pay them even if the client asks them to and there are sufficient funds to pay. They say their ‘fiscal’ responsibilities override the clients right to choice. Trying to complain doesn’t work either, they don’t answer them. When I asked why a complaint hadn’t been acknowledged or responded to after waiting 3 weeks, they had to go ‘looking’ for it, eventually ‘found’ it but didn’t actually respond to the points raised. They were unable to answer where the complaint had been ‘lost’ for 3 weeks. If I hadn’t followed up they would never have looked at it. Very unprofessional, rude, bossy bullies! Frail elderly people deserve much much more care and respect that what they provide.

Follow-up  · We ended up lodging a complaint with the Aged Care Complaints Commission who found in our favour. Lets Get Care were made to pay the invoices they had refused to pay. The client’s right to vary care was reaffirmed. We were told Let’s get Care would have to review their complaints process. We changed to another provider feeling the loss of our trust in them was too damaged to repair.

I have been a service provider for Lets Get Care for over a year. I really enjoy the work, but the late payments for all my hard work, and the amount of time I have to spend chasing up unpaid invoices is beyond a joke! accounts fobbed it off to each other!! Then I finally had an apology, as I dont need to resubmit it at all!! OMG! Did two departments actually communicate for once!? Yet it, plus two other invoices totalling over $1130 are still unpaid! All of this, plus previous late payments, erratic payments, where I have had to spend my time chasing them up, is having an effect on my mental health. Do Lets Get Care actually Care about their hard-working carers??? It appears not! Rest assured that all of the admin team are paid at the same time every week!! So why would they care!!

Time to make a formal complaint to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission!

Just a note to say that Lets Get Care have been paying me on time lately!! Even in the same week on some occasion!!

Hopefully it stays this way. Feb 2026

I am a support worker and have had dealings with them for 4 years. Whilst they have always been terrible in paying my invoices, they have now (November 2025) reached a level of incompetency and negligence that is criminal. with the changes that are currently being rolled out. The care partner goes on a month's holiday but doesn't arrange for someone else to do the work whilst she is away and fails to inform her client. Invoices unpaid for weeks. I'm constantly chasing up my invoices, they are always late paying them. I never know if and when I will get paid. Because of this I'm constantly anxious and stressed. I waste hours each week on the phone trying to get my pay. Today, I have been told that they've stopped paying invoices altogether because apparently Services Australia has not provided them with the funds. My client has to wait for weeks as well to get her expenses reimbursed or items that are already approved actioned. It is unbelievable. I can't believe this company hasn't been shut down yet because of their gross negligence and mismanagement of funds.

DISGUSTING POOR SERVICE. 28 days notice to exit and they have to release the referral code notify myagedcare for another provider to pick it up. I certainly don't recommend this funding provider they are incompetent by delaying services and equipment required and recommended by health professionals. "A form of elder abuse" I hope those searching to change do their research. If there was an option of zero stars I'd give that they not even worth 1 star. when you complain and then do nothing hoping you will just go away. This program was set up to keep the aged in their home safely. So many things recommend by an OT in writing that they have refused and client has paid for themselves. as self managed , if a supplier does not wish to register with them you cannot use them, who would want to when they are so hard to deal with. Yet they are prepared to pay out to companies they use at exorbitant prices without issue. But if the clients want something not from one of those companies you are refused. These providers are doing exactly what NDIS have done to their clients. So sad that they take advantage of the elderly and money the government is providing to the older generation to keep them n their homes longer. Even if you have your care plan in writing they refuse to provide the goods to adhere to , they don't even do this every 22 months as required.

Avoid this company for managing your package funds. They don't let the funds out without a long fight – Initial sign up people were excellent. I gather that was around the time the company changed hands or something. manager who was a senior manager came on and got things moving, but seemed to be in a constant battle with their powers from above. The company failed on so many fronts. Way too complex procedures; one instance where their requirements were not able to be met by the service provider, so we went around and around in circles because they were completely inflexible resulting in my parent being out of pocket $6+k. Approvals that did not happen for months. Invoices unpaid until I hassled. Refusal of approval for items that should have been approved (I am an allied health worker who works in this space, so I know the guidelines). I ended up just giving up. I assume they just want to delay to hang onto your funds as long as possible so they can profit from the interest.

Very Concerning
Very Concerning

Please Read – I am beyond disappointed with Let's Get Care. Choosing them for my loved one's self-managed aged care services has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Here are the key issues we encountered: Lack of Communication: Trying to reach someone at Let's Get Care is like pulling teeth. Calls go unanswered for days, and when they do bother… Read more

to respond, the staff are often unhelpful or lack basic knowledge about their own services.

Emails were either ignored or returned with generic responses that didn’t address my questions or concerns. It was impossible to get clear instructions on how to manage the care plan, let alone receive timely updates.

Poor Guidance on Managing Funds:

Let's Get Care claims to support self-management, but the reality was quite the opposite. There was zero transparency in the funding allocation process. We were left to guess where funds were being spent, and there were unexplained charges that we couldn't get a clear answer on.

The platform they use to track spending is outdated and confusing, often showing incorrect or delayed balances. This left us in a constant state of uncertainty about whether we had enough funds to cover care expenses.

Misleading Promises:

The company’s website and initial consultation painted a rosy picture of a well-organized, supportive service. But after we signed on, it became clear that their promises were hollow. There was no "personalized care" as promised, and we were left doing the majority of the work without any assistance.

They also claimed we could use our funds flexibly, but when we tried to access certain services, there were constant roadblocks and excuses. It felt like a bait-and-switch.

Billing Issues:

There were numerous billing discrepancies, with charges for services we didn’t receive or amounts that didn’t add up. We were repeatedly overcharged, and it took forever to resolve these disputes – when they bothered to respond at all.

The reimbursement process for services we paid out of pocket for was painfully slow, often taking weeks or even months to get reimbursed. This left us out of pocket for extended periods, causing undue financial stress.

Neglect of Duty:

The overall care coordination was chaotic and negligent. Appointments were missed, medical needs were ignored, and important paperwork was consistently mishandled. Their inability to manage even the basics of care coordination made it clear that they prioritize profit over the well-being of their clients.

Our experience with Let's Get Care left us feeling abandoned and helpless during one of the most vulnerable periods of our lives.

In summary, Let's Get Care is an utterly incompetent and unreliable aged care provider. Their complete lack of professionalism, support, and accountability has caused my family significant emotional and financial strain. I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone. If you value the well-being and safety of your loved ones, steer clear of Let's Get Care at all costs.

They weren't interested in coming back and I think it was because as far as I can see they were paid very late. Now I have to go through this drawn out process again after I find a good company to deal with. The problem seems to be with their wanting to make the service providers jumps through hoops that they don't have to with other companies. Our gardening guy says he has all the approvals and does NDIS and aged care work for other clients and only has to supply his ABN and account details. He's still waiting to hear from them but has given up. That's why we had to pay him ourselves.

Terrible service since they were taken over by larger company a couple of years ago – We have been with Let's Get Care for over 3 years and have recently switched providers due to the incompetence of their accounts department. Some invoices were not paid for 9 months despite repeated phone calls and emails from both me and the service provider. If someone didn't invoice exactly what was in our budget they wouldn't pay the invoice… Read more

but also would not email the service provider or me to let us know that they weren't paying it and why. I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to fix this issue but it is systemic. Several of our service providers requested that in future we pay invoices privately as they were sick of dealing with Let's Get Care and how slow they were in paying invoices. When I raised this with Let's Get Care I was told that we obviously weren't good at self-managing our home care package which was just a little gaslighty. The care managers and clinical team are good but they seem to have a high staff turnover as we had 5 care managers in 18 months. Glad to be seeing the back of them.

Dont Care About Clients – I have had three family members with LGC since 2016 and only one now remaining. staff, who just care about what cannot be funded. Could not care less, if the recipient is supported and their needs not met, as long as it is within their INTERPREATION of the guidelines the answer is NO! For example, my 92 yo father had an abscess on his shoulder, which had to be dressed by a Nurse regularly. I just about had to do a Stat Dec to be reimbursed for the dressing and bandages that the Nurse requested for me to purchase. It was an frustrating ordeal for me. Now, they refuse to fund carpet cleaning, unless, I provide them with a Nurses letter advising that he is incontinent and only then will they cover the areas that have been soiled. This clearly is a Company that is not working for its clients, but only minimising expenditure and ensuring that they have the documentation in place to cover THEIR back. Clients are second priority. Other Providers will not put you through the ordeal that these people do. Save yourself a headache and look elsewhere.
