Good, no-nonsense service. Just tried the chainsaw he serviced for me - talk about a hot knife through butter! Not cheap but you get what you pay for - quality advice, quality service. I recommend you get in there before he sells up.

Arthur was incredibly helpful, in locating the issue and fixing the machine that wasn't working as it should. He also advised and cheched the fuel contaners and petrol quality, advising that the canister needed cleaning, got the device working almost immediately - with better quality spark plug and advised on better quality oils to use with the machine in future. Very Helpful!

Speaking with Arthur over the phone, I thought he was quite arrogant. However, I was very wrong. Arthur turned out to be very helpful, honest, and friendly. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing honest, knowledgeable lawnmower advise.

Needed a service, damn it needed a service – After years of neglect my mower started to not do it's one and only job so I took it to Arthur for a look see. It was gunked up, grassed up and generally full of crap. One day later it running prefect, cutting better than it has in years and looks good to boot. I'm happy with the workshop, the work and with Arthur. No pressure selling, no over the top quotes and final price, no problem returning again.

didn't work, refused refund – Arthur talked me into scrapping my 3 year old honda grass cutter needing minor repairs ("they're junk"). I bought a reconditioned machine. Wouldn't work. Athur repaired. Wouldn't work. He replaced with another. Wouldn't work. Returned it on my 5th visit. Told him I didn't want another replacement, I was going to buy a new machine. He offered 12 month service credit (of no use to me as I was going to buy a new machine). He refused to refund me.

Magic touch – Arthur repaired my newish Victa mower in 2019. I'd done some cosmetic body repairs, changed the oil and air filter, but couldn't get the rotor off to change the blades. the motor. Dramatic difference! We've just had a very wet summer and a few times I was forced to mow the grass wet. The mower always starts, has better power and still throws into the catcher for a great lawn finish. I've just had my chainsaw serviced. He charges a premium, but delivers a premium too. No complaints.

The Good Oil – Arthur is a good bloke and originally hails from Sutho Shire. He has an engaging and pleasant manner and knows his stuff when it comes to running rotary mowers. He is also full of handy tips. Ask a mower question and Arthur's only too happy to give you the good oil! Chris

Expensive and hopeless – I have a Victa Mustang a bit less than 1 year old. It won't start when hot, only when cold. I took it to Leura Mower Repairs. The man there charged me $310. He didn't even try a hot start, couldn't fix it and tried to sell me one of his 2nd-hand mowers.

Unless you want to get ripped off I recommend not going there.
