Best TV ever! – Still going strong after eleven years, not one problem! We have a second LG plasma & again never one problem. Very happy with LG appliances!

Good – Had it since 2004 and only had one issue with it that was repaired under extended warranty. Still works great now in 2010. Good picture, liked the silver frame as opposed to the black, it was also one of the few that came with inbuilt tuner when we bought it Sound on it is pretty poor, remote is overly complicated

Excellent – Great value for money product. It is sturdy and is devoid of any significant shadowing. Have been using for over two years and while the specs might sound low, I have had no reasons to complain! Simple to use, Excellent colours, acceptable sound quality Nothing much

Terrible – No good. The LG brand is cheap and now I know why. Black band through the middle appeared for no real reason. Initial cost was good back in 2004. Silver frame looks better than the current shiny black frames. Had it fixed once then recently a 1 to 2 inch black band appeared right down the centre of the screen after the set has been turned on for about 5 minutes. The TV is now uneconomical to fix and can be binned. Crap about 60,000 hr half life.

Bad – If it did not break down the product is excellent but looks like if thats all you could afford back then then that is the price you must pay for buying cheap LG. I can afford a Panasonic now so i have throwen out my tv after 5 short years of good service. Bought mine at good guys in 2004 june for au$4500. Died may 2009. very nice picture and… Read more

sound and excellent price at the time when other units where $6000 for the same product specs. Will break down in less than 5 years, i consider myself luck as other posts on the internet complain breakdowns in 2 years. It had warning signs it was about to die as the screen would flash on-off then come good.
