Great for its time – This tv is great....for its time, these days the picture is nothing compared to what you get today. It is quite big and bulky, compared to the small slim TVs that you get today. but other then that is has done well over the years but it is not very good by these days standards Big, reliable, have had nothing wrong with it as yet. Low light, no HDMI

OK – Loved it to start with but now regret buying it when there are so many better TV's about now. Compared to the picture on the newer LCD or Plasma the picture is extremely poor. Will be calling LG very soon, or will look at a new HD LCD TV . Great design, really nice looking TV and I was really happy when first bought it, it also has fantastic sound out of it Only had about three and a half years, I have changed the lamp once, now it switches itself off one in every 5 times from standby. When I think what I paid for it, I think I should have got better. Also it is a pain as I cannot set the TV to centre speaker you have to use the external speakers, unplug these and there is no sound! (Unless anyone can advise how) Also I have just started getting yellow patches on screen not sure how to fix so it could be anything.

Bad – In retrospect I definitely should have done more research and looked at more products before I purchased this TV. There were better options at the time. Big. LG phone support were helpful and friendly. Not particularly bright or vibrant colours. Lamp has been discontinued requiring the replacement of 5(!!) circuit boards to accept new lamp. lamp power supply packed up after 600 hours of use (over a 2 year period so no warranty).
