Lack of help – Wrote to them to see if they could help 1wk later no word, rang them said they would follow up and get back to me 1 day later still nothing
Overpriced and not professional – Their team is friendly at first but then seems completely disinterested if you ask any questions. the back where he broke it over twenty years ago, no apologies as the assistants all seemed stressed and not not clear on how to work it almost like they were students. After the X-rays were done the total quote came to $77,000 and that didn’t include the final set of implants which were going to cost another $30,000. They encourage you to use your super and seem to have connections with Access My Super, who offered to take $100 of their fee if we were to use Lidums. We decided to get more quotes as we didn’t feel comfortable with the way my husband was being treated, so requested his X-rays that we had paid for through his GP, who told us they are legally obliged to forward these, yet even the GP hasn’t had success getting them released after nearly two weeks now, using excuses like ‘we never received your email’, ‘we are busy’, etc. With the price they charge you would think their customer service would be excellent, but we have had no follow up or apology and would strongly advise for anyone to think twice about going here! The positive reviews seem to be coming through their own staff which is also questionable.
Frightening experience for both of us – My husband broke his front tooth which is an implant. First thing Monday morning he rang to make an appointment. months later in which his life was threatened. I rang 24 hours later after his appointment when we both realised the mistake. After a few frantic calls to the office, the office manager informed me that they would send a prescription to our nearest pharmacy only after the Dr L was back in the office after 11.30am. I trusted them to do this but on further investigation the pharmacy reported that this urgent prescription never arrived....still waiting! I strongly agree with some of the other clients, not staff reviews... for example, 'look around,' you can do better. Bring Wendy back!

Covid-19 has been a tough time for many businesses, and our patients have shared many stories of how it has impacted them and their families. We have experienced so many changes in a very short period of time, and I am very grateful to our team and patients in their support while we navigate this very challenging time in the world. We love our patients and we love seeing their smile transformations. Even recently, a patient at the front desk was so sad she had to leave the practice with a mask, as she had just received a renewed smile and wanted to show it off to the world - these are the kinds of patients we are here for. Admin team is disorganised and patronising. Poor customer service and overpriced – I have attended Lidums two times. The first time they held me back for 30 minutes after the consultation, as there was some issues with the customer before me hogging their terminal. The next consultation i was advised that the job that needed to be done was going to cost from $25.000 and up, so i was advised by the dentist to get my superfund released. I was in shock, as this was not what was originally discussed, nor originally advised by my orthodontist.
A couple of days after the consultation, i called and requested the photos taken from our consultation, so i could compare the changes to the photos my orthodontist had taken years before, just as a personal interest. After all, i have paid for those photos. Lidums had advised me there was significant changes, so i wanted to see.
I had an appointment with my orthodontist 3 days later, so i expressed urgency. I was sent a release form, and then completed it right away, and returned it. I was then completely ignored by the admin staff. When i called by the end of the day, to ask again, the admin sighed and told me she was very busy and would get to it during the day. And the next day. And the next. I called every day, and was given empty excuses and vague nothings. They expressed they were super busy and displayed annoyance, and inconvenience by my request. They were also to call me back, to let me know what was happening. But nothing. This proceeded until my orthodontist appointment came and went. No explanations given, nor any contact made.
For this experience i paid nearly $500. Including over $80 for 2 photos, which the admin staff/Lidums refused to give me. Nor any explanation given. $500 for a complete waste of time
This experience with their admin staff made me determined that i will not spend my money there, as for the money they charged, the lack of customer service and consideration is so poor -So i went to a different cosmetic dentist for advise today. And am i glad i did? -Yes! He would do the same job for a fraction of the price! :D So, shop around!
Terrible Experience – After consulting with Arnis Lidums I was persuaded to have dental implants which turned out to be an absolute nightmare. The implants failed with more surgery necessary at my additional cost. be happy to take over the badly managed treatment. This clinic has the appearance of offering high quality no risk 100% success rate for their treatments but, it is more about their profit than their patients.
