Liebherr SKES 4200

Avoid Liebherr fridges please – An expensive fridge with endless issues and now rust marks on all doors. How do you explain this. The technician says it’s “a problem”. Probably spent the cost of the fridge on the cheap plastic inside, runner linings, replacing one of the doors …. Don’t touch them please.

Leibherr Skes4200 side by side fridge/freezer – This fridge and freezer is just over 5 years old and I already spent $250 on parts 6 months ago, now I am faced with another bill for $1100 for new seals, brackets and crispers as all these items are breaking. On top of getting the freezer fixed as its not longer working at all. The service agent could not tell me what was wrong with the freezer, told me to defrost it and it should work fine and it doesn't.

I could definitely buy a nice Samsung unit for this money, however we have just built our new kitchen around this unit so we are stuck with it. I called and wrote emails to Andico and they are not willing to help me out, however I can buy parts from them directly cheaper as the service agent was doubling the cost of them. Its supposed to be under an extended warranty for 6 years however the extended warranty company wont cover it as they claim they have a 5 year limit written in fine print when I paid for the 6.

Not very happy and would not recommend.
