Took a large box of household items including a group of new books to a Lifeline Op shop. A man working there grabbed 2 of the books and threw them in a skip bin because one was an autobiography by an aboriginal person and the other was an aboriginal children’s book. I went to skip bin and pulled them back out with the man saying “I was only joking”. Racist behaviour.

Virginia lifeline has many lovely, good quality items. Unfortunately, as almost every single review details: the prices are over the top, pure greed, and often exceeding their retail value. There are many broken items, ie shoes with soles coming off, with healthy price tags. Obviously the owner takes absolutely no notice of feedback. I would never… Read more

donate good quality items to this shop. I donate with the intention of passing on great items to someone who needs, or could use them at a good price. This store besmirchs every intent behind the idea of goodwill.

Cashless Business – Won't be returning as a customer any more. I don't shop at businesses that don't accept cash as a payment option. Cash is the legal tender of Australia. Bye Bye.

A great and Inspiring experience – We needed a new spare bed but did not have a huge budget. We have always donated to Lifeli e, but rarely bought. While delivering some pre-loved items, we asked if they had any pre-loved beds. Adam invited us in, and showed us a number of new beds. The one we liked most was floor stock only, but he offered to source one brand new. He helped us to… Read more

choose a mattress, and he hoped both items would arrive in a couple of days. Two days later, a phone call. John was duty manager and offered to stay late if we wanted to collect that day. It was not necessary but the offer was appreciated. He got everything ready, and helped us load up. On the Sunday, we assembled the bed, but found that the packet of screws was missing a few. A phone call, and a lovely lady , who's name I missed, had found a pack from another bed, but asked if we could pick up before 3 pm. No problem. We picked them up, cometed assembly, and could not be more delighted! The whole experience was fantastic. Friendly and helpful staff, great product, very modest price. We are very impressed with every aspect of Lifeline Logan Central, but probably all Lifeline stores are similar. And we all know that Lifeline exists to help those people who most need it. Thank you for giving us a reminder that there are so many good people in the world.

not charitable – the driveway outside Virginia shop is a Health and Safety Hazard. Many cars have driven over a 250cm drop I was the 3rd in one week according to staff and customers, this happens alot, only 1 worker helped by giving me Managers Ph number N/A. Only works 3 days a week. She informed me they were not RESPONSIBILITY ... PROPERTY MANAGER said they… Read more

were liable, as LIFELINE are the LEASEES of property. LEGAL AIDE and Council say it is a workplace Health and Safety issue. BE WARNED this issue has not been addressed and is still a danger to customers. Suggest shop at SALVOS or VINNIES much more charitable and better quality.

Awesome like always. 5 star's again – A big thank you for Tracey and team. It arrived so early I didn't track my items. The parcel was very well wrapped up. I would love to give you 10 star's, I'm that happy with my items. I'm going to start going looking more than once every couple of days. Thanks again Tracey

rude staff member Lifeline Margate QLD store 1/9/19 – The radios in the store were particularly loud on that day. I was looking through magazines and the radio was blaring into my ear. I turned the radio down. A staff member then disconnected the radio and another lady staff member commented on "idiots" who play around with the radios. They discussed loudly where they were going to move the radio and… Read more

basically made a big fuss. I was with my elderly mother at the time and said nothing. I complained online to Lifeline but received no response at all. Rudeness all around.

Moe lifeline staff rude – Recently went to Moe lifeline op shop to take a look around. Seen a pair of workpants for my husband. Wasn't sure if they would fit him around the waist. I asked if i could return them the next day and get a refund if they don't fit. 'We don't give refunds' came the abrupt answer. The other staff member at the counter commented that i could return them as a 'donation'... There is no way i will ever donate anything to lifeline.

Not going back – I bought a bag from this shop over a month ago then went back there to buy a purse. The lady who served me at the counter was lovely but the lady next to her was rude and kept saying "we had one of the same bag before, I wonder if it's still there" The lovely lady replied " It does not matter". The rude lady forgot she was the one I bought the bag… Read more

from and the way she stared at me made me feel really uncomfortable. I don't know what her problem was but it was not pleasant to be treated like a thief. If the store is really concerned about theft it might be a good idea to conduct bag search at door instead of implying someone stole something in undertone and stare at customers. I will not be returning to the store for sure.

Not a bad op shop, all staff great except for one particular lady – Great op shop, range of many different things. All of the staff were great unfortunately except for one lady who was extremely rude and managed to ruin my day with her bad customer service. Beware, although I would recommend visiting the shop if you are into op shopping they have all different kinds of items, as op shops do. There was one… Read more

beautiful lady, who assisted me when the ruder shop attendant turned her back to me. Bad customer service really worries me as people obviously don't realise how they could affect someone. Most staff and great range One particular staff who was extremely rude.
