Hi Donna, I work at Lift Shop and was going through the reviews.. Thanks for your question. THE FLASHING RED, on all landings, is a signal from the computer, to the user, that the safety circuit is faulty. A reset is not a fix unfortunately, unlike my phone or laptop computer, because the computer is giving feedback on a condition on the normally working machine, and it has a safety concern.

No matter how quick you flick the switch, it wont defeat the safety concern. It should be investigated, better its a small issue, than you get hurt.
