I have "regular" feet, however many previous thongs suffered from plug blowout :), so I purchased a Lightfeet set on sale a few years ago and was surprised how comfortable they were. 3 years on I purchased 2 more sets for me (1 green, 1 black) and… Read more

1 for a friend. The wear and quality was as good as the original.

One issue I did notice after a year or so was the black pair had shrunk about 7-9mm. I contacted Lightfeet about this and they advised:

Thanks for your email, I’m sorry to hear about your thongs.

Our thongs are made from EVA and are heat treated in the sizing process. Unfortunately, this means that if they are left in direct sunlight, they will shrink. We do put a warning label on the thongs, so consumers are aware. With this said, I don’t want to leave you with a pair of thongs you can no longer wear. So I’m happy to replace them for you. Can you please send me a photo. Once I receive it, I will dispatch the thongs for you

I had been leaving the thongs outside the front door, exposed to strong afternoon sun, which had caused the issue. Obviously this situation shall be corrected going forward.

UNBEATABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

It is this level of customer service that will retain customers long term.

Follow-up  · Follow up: 1. Wet weather grip is great for both foot contact on thong and thong contact on surface, SUBJECT to the surface type. Obviously if the surface is very smooth with liquid on it, any material will have less grip, apply common sense :) 2. Colour fade is non existent or so small to be unnoticeable. 3. As mentioned in original post my feet are "regular" (however that applies in todays world) and I have no issues with arch support.

I’ve tried just about every brand of thongs in Australia and I’ve got to say that Lightfeet things are the best! Soft but supportive, easy to wear, great arch support. Not only that but the customer service is the best I’ve experienced. I have… Read more

trouble finding the right fit, especially when buying online. Not a problem for Lightfeet! Was extremely impressed by the “not a problem” attitude from Tegan. Took us 3 tries to fit my odd feet but nothing was a problem.

Excellent product! Excellent customer service!

Follow-up  · Hullo In response to your questions:- - The comfort and soft of the material the thongs are made of was a surprise - Customer service was incredible, happy to have me allow me to return(free of charge) the two pairs that didn’t fit while I kept purchasing different sizes. Customer service was second to none! - I have large bunions and flat… Read more

Absolute waste of money. Minimal arch support. If not worn regularly they shrink and curl up. Blisters from the straps. Nothing like Archie's for the same money. Very disappointed. Show details

Very little arch support – These things are advertised as having arch support but the arch support is barely there in my orange flip flops. They are definitely not worth the hefty price tag. If you are buying specifically for the arch support then go several steps up and purchase Vionic instead. On the positives I would recommend them for people with flat feet and travel as they are definitely light weight. Show details

Comfortable thong – I have to disagree with some of the reviews. Before trying on the thongs I had questioned the difference between a $155 pair of thongs and $99 pair so was happy who I found an inbetween pair. They are extremely comfortable. I'm a 7&1/2 in normal shoe size but size 8 in the thong, womens. They're more comfy than my daily sport shoes. I'm happy… Read more

with the qualification so far and have had no issues with rubbing against my skin or blisters like some footwear do.. I highly recommend trying on a pair to feel for yourself

Did nothing to help my plantar fasciitis – Purchased 3 pairs of these, 1 for myself and 2 for family members. I have plantar fasciitis and these did absolutely nothing for me except make my feet ache more. They have better support than a traditional cheap pair of thongs but nothing like my pair of Kumfs which I purchased on sale for $40. These also just make your feet sweat and look very… Read more

cheap. Personally I would never buy them again. I will say though that my husband really liked them. He doesn't have plantar fasciitis though and he definitely wouldn't pay their asking price for them. Yes, you can return them under their 100% comfort guarantee but you have to pay return postage so honestly, who would bother.
