STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS - Horrible experience, they only want to take your money and if the products are not right, too bad, they do not care about you as a client. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

explicitly told that we could change the product as long as it remained in the store’s possession. However, when we requested a color change to brown—especially since both black and brown fans are currently priced at $220—we were suddenly asked to pay extra.

The issue is not about money; it’s about principle. Why should I pay more when both colors are currently sold for the same price? It simply didn’t make sense. When we sought clarification, the female store manager became extremely arrogant and dismissive. What made it worse was that this rude behavior happened after we had already made the additional payment. Instead of addressing our concern professionally, she rudely told us that we should be thankful they were even allowing a color change. She went as far as saying, “I am the store manager, so I can charge you whatever I want. If you don’t like it, leave my store, or I’ll call the cops!”

I was shocked by the hostility and lack of basic customer service. A simple explanation or a professional approach would have gone a long way, but instead, we were met with aggression. This is not how customers should be treated, and I certainly won’t be returning to this store.

If this is how they treat customers during a simple request—especially after giving us different information at the time of purchase—I can only imagine how terrible their after-sales service must be. I highly doubt they would be helpful if you ever had an issue after purchasing.

If you value respectful service and fair treatment, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for your lighting and fan needs

Light fittings – I had to throw all of my light fittings out as parts were missing out of the boxes. One of my light fittings were smashed to pieces on arrival. I had to purchase all new light fittings in my state. $600 down tbe drain.

Fantastic range of lights – This is my 4th time coming to Lights2you in Seven Hills, and once again they have provided me not only with knowledge but also the perfect lighting for my decking and my pagola the staff are so friendly and are happy to spend the time needed in order for me to get the best selection I wish I could give 10 stars. Thank you Lights2you for all your help.

Misleading advertising of product – When tried to return my product for a full credit plus postage there is no way they would admit they were wrong, just kept saying I got what I ordered, so I have a totally useless light.

Dont buy sale light as you can return sale item but will charge 30% fees – I bought sale light last saturday. I wanted to exchange the light after i bought it but was told that they will charge 30% fees . 30% fees is not even mentioned in the docket. Its a shame i have bought nearly $1000 lights from this store and this is what i get . Not happy and will never shop again and will not recommend to families and friends

No globes included know where does it state this – It states LED upgrade only common assumption is that is an upgrade from std globes very misleading Other that that it looks ok but will not know until I now buy some globes.

Great customer service and advice – I made an appointment to get a consult done as I wasn't sure what I needed for my space. They came out to my house as my wife and I are renovating, walked through with us room to room and showed us plenty of options for each space. We then went back to their showroom, saw their range and finalised our order. We're incredibly happy with the service they provided and the advice was fantastic!

Great store – I needed a few fans in time for summer and never realised how many different styles of fans there was. The employees were a great help and recommended the Storm 52 inch 5 blade ceiling fans which looks absolutely amazing.

Buyer beware another online store with appalling after sales support with an irrelevant warranty – This company does not take full responsibility for the product it sells. We purchased a rather expensive ($1400) pendant light which failed just on 12 months, the lights are LED and its not a globe replacement issue, the fix will require an electrician. electrician to repair it at your own cost. Of course they say you can get an electrician to remove the light and send it back to us at your cost and we can repair here.

Heed the negative reviews here if you need quality and after sales support go for another company with good reviews. For the cheaper stuff you're probably fine, where you don't care about warranty for low cost stuff. Cheap suits lights 2 you.

My advise is that don't fall in to their sales speech, if you like something on their website or store then search with brand name (telbix, eglo or other) and model number, very likely you will find it cheaper price. If anyone from Light2you reading this then you have my emails for your record with proof. I am not making this up.

details. I was asked if i wanted 2x 1m or 1x2m length (i told them it doesnt matter as i am using 1.5m and have a grinder to cut it at home) they said oh ok no worries and hung up

2 weeks pass and i finally get the call its here. Opened up the package to find 1.5m length of profile.

I contacted the store to tell them ok, well i paid for 2m so i would like a refund of $25 since i only got 1.5m (in the end i actually could have used that extra .5m)

In short they said that they "had" to cut it at no additional cost because i apparently told them that they had to??? Even though i specifically told them i own a grinder and can adjust it at home. So they decided to take 3 seconds to give it a quick chop to save themselves material and also overcharge a new customer by not giving him a refund for something he paid for and never got....

A satisfactory outcome – In my earlier post I expressed my disappointment about the timing of the despatch of my light which prevented me exchanging it. Today I received a call from a friendly and most helpful staff member who explained the mix up with despatch details and offered to exchange the light. The matter has now been resolved to my satisfaction. Thank you.

Carefull! No refund – Purchased lights from this shop on line. Wanted to return the led lights as does not suit my requirement. The older gentleman is not friendly. So once you by them you are stuck. You get cheaper elsewhere. Never by from this shop.

Rip off – Just bought 3 lights and same light at another shop at 30% cheaper. The staff is rude and not ready to coperate. This is a rip off and I suggest not to visit or buy any product from this store as unprofessional and not refund for a price match.

Over priced with poor customer service – Purchased some lights here and later realized their price are completely over the top when you compare them to other lighting stores in Sydney. Further when you try to return a product the rude older gentleman who works there makes it seem as though you’re committing a crime. If you need spotlights, or any other type of lighting or fans etc do your research and buy elsewhere!
