part. This was a week late already. The third part came a week after that. When I checked, the second part was despatched but cancelled. I proceeded to contact them twice a week for the next month to see where my package was. Nobody seemed to know where it was or how to find out, and seemed even less interested in actually doing their job. They were rude, and made no effort to track down the package. I finally told them that I would pursue a legal remedy if my package didn't arrive this week and, lo and behold, it turned up this morning, on the last day before I put in a complaint with Fair Trading. Imagine that! Only 6 weeks for an order that should have taken days. Their reason for all the nonsense? They had a lot of orders and couldn't get them all done in time. Really? I have never encountered such a slow delivery service. It took over 2 weeks for them to post my items out and this was only done because I was emailing them asking where my items are over a number of days. Had I known it was going to take that long I would have shopped elsewhere. I will NOT be buying from Lincraft again. I can buy the same product elsewhere with no issues with delivery.

baby blanket. I sent an email informing them of the poor quality and was asked for photos. Sent photos. Not in correct format so asked to resend in correct format. Did so. Then I had a back and forward set of emails wanting me to present to the store with the offending balls of wool. I explained again and again that I'd cut out the bad sections and sent a photo of the collection of garbage wool. Still in next email asked to take the balls to store. Lincraft Head Office, Attention:- Sales Manager. I explained that I do not have a receipt, as my house got flooded out etc (my sewing machine did not get flooded with water as it was in storage at another address.). In letter, I gave my post box address, that I ordered the machine to be delivered to. My name, and my then, contact phone and email details. However, I asked to not use this email address, as I lost my phone in the flood, and decided to have new email address. Have not set it up yet. So please reply via mail. 17 emails needed! Contacted Customer Service about the items still being advertised on Lincraft website. Turns out I was given completely the wrong information and they DO still stock the items I ordered. Asked about a credit (as a matter of principle) for the huge inconvenience and out of pocket expense. Told don't give credits. Then asked, so what are we looking at, $5 for costs? Disgusted, told her I would deal with it in another way. Days of my time and energy spent correcting Lincraft's mistake is obviously of no value to them. Appalling attitude from Customer Service and appalling way for Lincraft to treat customers. They lost this customer for good.

idea what to do about the offcuts, which were unpriced, but instead of trying to solve the issue they just sort of meandered about giggling to each other wondering what to do. One of them asked to be shown where the offcuts had come from and needed to be shown the shelf, which he stood and stared at silently for about 2 minutes. Then one of them suggested measuring each offcut--which is the stupidest thing I have ever heard in my entire life. Eventually one of them phones a supervisor, but even after speaking on the phone they seemed very confused about what to do, which buttons to press on the register, but totally uncaring. A like of about 5-6 people had accumulated but neither of them were rushing, in fact I do believe both of them slowed down.
Thankfully myself, my partner and one of my friends only had a couple things, but our son had quite a few offcuts and wanted some fabric cut. Not a huge job. it took the young guy about 25 minutes for this single transaction. For some reason it required 2-3 receipts as well, my son was confused as to why the transaction had been broken up into segments too. I've never seen anyone move so slow. We suspect he might have been high.
Anyway I had a friend that sews her own costumes and is extremely knowledgeable about all things sewing and fabric, who got turned down from a job interview at Lindcraft recently, I suppose she had one too many braincells because those zombies you had at the Elizabeth St store made me feel like I was losing my wits just via proximity but that's apparently the type you go for.

I told her I would have cancelled the order if this was the case and she had lied to me about refunding the difference. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. shipping label had been created by Australia post. But half a week later and it was still not on its way. I got a second email from Lincraft telling me the rest of my order had been marked as "priority". Finally the half of my order that had been packed was picked up and was on its way. But today I got another email from Lincraft CANCELLING the rest of my order and refunding my money. So after weeks of waiting, I got NONE of the sale items or the items I actually needed. All I got was a few tiny things I had bought as extras and could have bought anywhere without paying lincraft's expensive shipping. NOT HAPPY. Will not be ordering from Lincraft again that is for sure.
Still waiting – I ordered craft supplies from Lincraft. Two weeks later, this item has not even been sent. I have sent multiple emails requesting a refund or to expedite shipping so that the item arrives more quickly. I am still waiting for my order.

I once again asked her to call them whilst on the phone another customer came up whom she wanted to serve at this stage I told her as I had entered the store first she should finish my enquiry. response. Luckily I paid with PayPal and opened a dispute through PayPal. Lincraft did not respond to dispute until it was almost expiring (and I indicated to PayPal it’s not resolved). Lincraft stated that the item was received and sent picture from Aus post delivery on doorstep. I told PayPal dispute was not resolved and told lincraft (via PayPal dispute as they never contacted me at any stage) that if they had read my original email to them they could see that I had stated all other items had been received and that one item was missing. The pictures I sent lincraft at the start had the other items in them. After making it clear dispute was not over, I received a refund for missing item in PayPal account. But still no communication from lincraft. Their customer service was appalling and if I hadn’t paid with PayPal where I could open a dispute for transaction lincraft would have kept on ignoring me. I haven’t shopped with them since which is a shame because the staff at local store are lovely.
Lincraft experience simply – For my sewing I found exactly what I needed. Everything was straight forward , easy to order , all as advertised paid by pay pal , and arrived super quick. Would definitely shop here again .
Not happy Jan! – I visited the corio store this morning to purchase some card stock. There were handmade paper packets clearly marked $6 each down from $8 & when scanned at the register they were at the full price of $8. When I questioned this I was told that I could not get them at the reduced price because the manager wasn’t around to authorise it. I’m a regular customer and I’m very disappointed in the service.
Disappointing Online Service – One of the items I ordered was 10 meters of elastic. This came in a box, although in a timely fashion, it was 10 meters of jumble. Obviously they are not interested in providing a reasonable standard of customer regard.
BE CAREFUL WITH ONLINE ORDERS – I checked out with an online order then was sent a msg a day later requesting more money says due to glitch. How can u check out then have to owe more money due to them discounting items to much. I’m a disability pensioner so after spending near $90 to then be told they wanted another $20 was ridiculous. Any other company does not make their mistakes your problem. I had to borrow the money which was super embarrassing.
Don't buy gift cards – Gift cards are not redeemable on line. When you do finally get onto customer 'service' it is suggested you buy your items again then get reimbursed! A terrible retail experience. A joke.

result not the how akward the machine really is ..you turn the handle and the machine bounces and lifts up so what you have to do is put your spare hand on the same side and same area where the turning handle is to balance the machine so you can knit ..very very uncomfortable ...the product on the whole just seems flimsy i knit and i feel i will break a needle ...i used an 8ply acrylic and i reckon it could make a beanie .i just gave up...just very clever marketing for a cheaply manufactured product ..i will stick to my hand knitting till something improved comes along ...this review is only for the lincraft makr knit machine i am aware there are other brands available on the market but my experience has only been with this product

They don't post low score reviews about products they sell – I purchased some Makr acrylic paint when it was reduced 50%. Even reduced, the price was more expensive compared to acrylic paint at the dollar stores and I thought it has decent quality. However, they contain very little pigment. I posted a one star review for the products I purchased about three weeks ago. Checking the products now, they still appear as having no reviews. I am guessing they prefer not to post low score reviews.
Smelly fabric – I bought fabric to use for face mask lining I washed it first,after sewing the mask the smell was still there I soaked the mask for a day then washed that and the fabric again it still smells terrible,I’m throwing it and the fabric away, thank goodness it wasn’t expensive I won’t be buying from here again.

did this multiple times over a couple of weeks. I then contacted online. Took a few days for ridiculous reply asking me to take photos of what I received and packaging. Mattress Protector already on bed, wool already used packaging thrown away. I also DID NOT receive any invoice or paperwork, which i stated at the very first point of call/email. Previous online orders I receive invoice via email. I then emailed them saying I called the store that items were shipped from and they advised the balance of the products will come from either another store or if "online only" items they come from their "Web" warehouse. Reply to that email was they can see there are outstanding items they will expedite. Weeks later, still nothing. Lincraft is the main place that I purchase my knitting items. WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN - EVEN IN STORE. I have found new places online where they ship and i receive within a week (Victoria customer during lockdown)
