Great product when used correctly and with the right line. Mine has lasted about 12 years and its only starting to show signs or wear where the line snaps off. Be careful though. I started using a really strong line thinking it will last longer and cut better but it's starting to wear the cap harder. If you use a medium to strength line you should be good to go.

Got a cheap line trimmer from Bunnings around 100 dollars two stroke. This head worked well for about 7 to 8 years replacing caps as they wear out. The full assembled head finally died didn't hold any line as the plastic wears out develops grooves thanks to the line U use. Got a new head working flawlessly got my replacement caps hope to get… Read more

another 7 years. Even tried a Bunnings head to suit line trimmer for 35 bucks only lasted a tank of fuel before breaking in between getting a new head.

Incorrect usage? – I think the problems people are reporting may be due to incorrect use. I've had this head on my cheap bunnings trimmer for about 8-10 years with no problems. I don’t need to tighten the head down hard. The line holds in fine with just a very light twist. It's important to clamp the line in at about the halfway point so that it's balanced. Also… Read more

make sure you have the right model for straight or curved shift. Also use thick line, 3mm or more. Then it won't break easily. Do all of this and you will love your trimmer again!

Finally died... after 15 years !! – Can't fault this little juey gem, had same one for 15 years, and going for my second today. It has on occasion inexplicably spat out the weed line, but very rare.

Useless – I used it for approx 2 minutes and I thought why I had been wasting my time on the previous trimmer head but soon after it stopped trimming and was not moving. I had a look and it had spun all around and now it was very hard to undo. Still sitting in the trimmer as I cant get any repairs done due to Covid-19 lockdown. What a heap of junk for $39.90 during this hard times. Keep ripping people off.

Annoying sadly – Work at first but the nut never locked in place at first. And now the nut gets hot and burns the lines in half. Now I can't get the thing off

Poor quality item – Initially it wouldn't fit my strimmer, cheap quality nuts with no thread, when i did get it working the supplied strim material breaks real fast, i mean 30 seconds. It's a terrible product.

Years of quality use – I bought my first Little Juey (curved) for my Stihl line trimmer about 8 years ago. I got tired of winding on the standard Stihl line for what seemed every 5 minutes of trimming. So I scoured the Internet for a solution and found this great piece of equipment. From my personal experience I can highly recommend it. I'm about to buy my second… Read more

one as I've worn the tip off the first one.. not bad value after 8 years of trouble(and curse) free trimming..

Great product if you use it properly – I was a bit weary about buying it at first but I thought I'd give it a go, and I have no regrets. Two important things to remember, make sure you buy the right head either bent or straight ,if you buy the wrong one it will fly out all the time like people say because they spin clockwise and anticlockwise, two don't get to rough with it , if your… Read more

constantly holding it to close and hitting concrete it will snap, cut with the tip of the line not the base at the head , it does cost a bit more as far as dollers per meter of wiper snipping ,but the time you save loading and reloading it is well worth it, i have just had a pack of fifteen last me just under a year, if your tight with a lot of time to spare loading and reloading your old style line then don't bother, I like it because it saves me at least 2- 3 hours per year going crazy reloading line, well worth it!

Brilliant device – On every line trimmer I have owned both petrol and electric I have swapped the heads over to little juey! brilliant device, very easy to use and no more tangled lines. This Device makes any brushcutter/line trimmer as professional as my $1,200 Straight shaft Tanaka Brushcutter. Have converted Many Friends over to the little Juey as well, all… Read more

happy converts.

Highly recommend if you want to avoid the frustration of tangled lines and bump feeds that don;t work properly.

Line keeps breaking – The idea is good in principle but you either end up tightening the head so much that the line snaps within 1m of use, or you dont tighten it enough the the cord flies out. I have tried ever different type of cord I can think of and it still happens. Do not buy this item unless you wish to be forever frustrated!

Peice of garbage – This is the biggest waste of money I've ever spent, I've pulled my hair out every time I've used it. It makes me angry that someone can get away with selling them. I highly recommend that if you're looking for an easier way to trim your grass look elsewhere. Thanks for nothing, whoever invented this. Back to the drawing board for you

Total Waste of my time and effort, as well as the money I paid for it – The machine itself is very powerful, maybe too much so. I have tried every line manufactured on this Earth and they all break within a second or two. I got this to save the back and arm when starting the petrol one. Can someone put me in touch with the maker? I want my money back.

Good idea but fails in execution – This is a great idea in theory. Detach the head, feed in more line, reattach and off you go. It did in fact wok this way for the 1st couple of times. However, eventually it became more and more difficult to detach the head - to the point where it would literally take half an hour of sweating and levering to get it off. Eventually it became so stuck or fused that I had to saw the bottom half off.

Very, very poor. Do not waste your money – Sorry but could not find where I could review the straight shaft version. But here are my comments. The product does not live up to its name. Yes it's a quick reload for the first ten changes but after a couple of hours use it proved almost impossible the open the 3 second reload head. It had seized. The tool, to open the Juey, that the robber at… Read more

the Great Yorkshire Show, Harrogate, England gave me as a "freeby" bent. And how on earth is it possible to open it without this flimsy tool. I told the guy I had an Hectare of land to do and he recommended 2 packs of the 3.5. It did not touch the sides, I only managed an acre with all the line refills. If you have a lawn then I'm sure it is great for the elderly but expect it to "kick anything but grass" and you will be disappointed big style.

I will be back at the show next year and tell the guy what a poor product he sold me. That's a promise.

What an awesome little device. :) – Bought this to replace my Stihl standard trim head. Which it does with bells on, the 3.5mm cord (black) is capable of destroying anything I stuck it into, cleared a very overgrown field of thick grass and broom bushes in no time used about 10 black cords to do the whole job, a LOT LESS than I would have with my standard Stihl trimmer head. ;)

Great for my yard – Bought this today with extension cord 25 m and extra line $168 for everything. So far so good. No regrets yet! Great price for the product. Happy woman here.

Breaks line all the time – Bought this product thinking great fast and easy. Breaks line fast as in some cases 1 min of work. Now trying to get it off near on impossible I think the grinder is coming out. Do not use it!

Very disappointed – I haven't had a problem with the line breaking, probably because it usually flies out after a minute or so of use. It just won't clamp securely into the head. I've tried several different fixes, wiring it securely each side of the head with lock wire works the best, but it's time consuming every time I change lines. With a bit of further development, this could be turned into a good product

sounds good but an awful product – This product was purchased on an impulse at Candelo markets some months ago, only got to use it about a month ago on my newly established lawns using a Honda line trimmer. At the time of purchase the product sounded good but in operation it is troublesome, you need to continually stop to adjust the length of line, or as I found replace the line… Read more

they supplies as it continually snapped at the head. I initially thought the line was too brittle but on the second use realised that the line is effectively clamped at a single point on each side so all stress on the line is at those points which cause the line to break.

If you look at the original line feed that the trimmer came with the stress point is distributed over about 1 cm of a curved surface, eliminating a single stress point thus reducing the chance of breaking.

The replacement line is also expensive, in 3 cuttings I have used all the line supplied.

I have replaced the original head and and it works much better.

In short use a quality line on the original head not a Littl' Juey.

Hope this helps

Recommended – Having used this on product on my Stihl FS45 for the last twelve months, i would say on about 70-80 lawns this is a good product and am about to get a new one as the end cap has finally worn out.on initial use the plastic in the cap was straight and a bit sharp which led to line snapping although quickly wore in.

Great piece of kit – As a part time mowing contractor, i have being using the littl' juey for just on two years now on a Stihl FS45, it has really outdone other heads and is quick to change line (pre-cut lenghts) the first one wore out after 18 months after running the plastic along concrete paths ect. for so long. it could'nt fit the line in the holes anymore.went straight out an bought another littl' juey. Easy to change line, small head uses less line.

Terrible Product, Broke My whipper snipper – On the 3rd use the main drive cable on my Ryobi Whipper snipper broke. This was due to the extra torque placed by this third party product. The local mower shop said he sees this all the time and would never recommend Littl' Juey because of this. Littl' Juey clearly didn't test this product. Now I have to replace my whole trimmer. Not Happy ! Broke my whipper snipper / trimmer.
