The Chermside cafe offers nice coffee, sweets and friendly service but I found the savoury food to be quite bland. It would be great to see salt and pepper available to customers. Food portions are small and a little pricey. No sides (salads/garnish) available for their heat and serve food. Food heated nicely but underwhelming in taste and presentation. Show details

Little Sparrow Airport West. Went yesterday for brunch, had worst experience. Long wait for meals, and then only two of three came out, I let my husband and child have those while I watched them eat lol Ended up getting a refund for my meal. Unapologetic staff. Some people should not be in hospitality.

Coffee is great and friendly staff! A beautiful team. I can always trust to get my coffee from here! Would 100% recommend to give them a chance!

Fantastic place to eat. Went for lunch and had the smashed avocado and scrambled eggs which is our regular when we go out and by far the best we have had in the area. Staff are really friendly and seems to really enjoy their jobs which creates a great welcoming vibe. The coffee was also first class! Well done to all that are involved with that business

Little Sparrow @Airport West is my favourite Cafe in the area. Clean, which is very important. Diligent staff who are extremely welcoming and helpful along with delicious food at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place. Show details

Rude manager – I ordered a fresh sandwich. The top of the sandwich the bread was dry, when I call the manage over, and said nicely, not asking for money back or anything. I told him the bread was dry on the top, his response was, well we make them at 6.30 am, so that’s why, I asked why they cover them, he just shrugged, wasn’t interested at all. They don't even know if they are open or not – This was the excuse for a restaurant in Hastings st Noosa. My wife and I made the mistake of going here a little after 2 p.m. on a weekday. Five other people were sitting in the outdoor area where we went. My wife went to order. One waitress took the order and a waitress behind her said that no, they were not closed. waitress who was going with the " no, we're not closed" faction came up to us and said they were open. We gave our order, a bowl of chips, which, according to the menu came with aioli, and for drinks we ordered a lemon lime and bitters and a soda lime and bitters. We had to repeat the drinks 4 times before the waitress who clearly couldn't speak English well enough to do the job was able to understand. After about ten minutes the chips came out, complete with 1/2 a ton of paprika which was not asked for. After about five more minutes a waitress { from the "we're not open faction"} came out to say that they didn't have any bitters. I am unclear why they did not have the brains to say this before. If they had we would have cancelled the order. This second waitress did not bother to ask if we wanted any water, let alone bring any. - that was left up to me to go and ask. I would have requested that any of the waitresses from either faction had the courtesy or consideration to come past and check if everything was okay.

Disappointing – I went to Little Sparrow, Chermside, on 16/3/23. The counter staff person was rather cold and off-putting. I ordered a skinny flat white and a macaron. It cost $8.00. powder on top! That is not a flat white! It didn’t really taste of anything much either. Won’t go back there.

Disgusting Coffee , Food and Service – Visited Little Sparrow at Watergardens Shopping centre today and ordered coffee and cakes and they were both disgusting along with the prices charged and very poor service.. never going back there again !!
