Unethical website, when you first advertise ,they show your advertisement so you get a few replies after that they manipulate the listing so you get no response so they want you to pay to advertise, Why no phone number allowed now without payment or not able to see the profile of who contacted you Needs to be reported to ACCC

review if you're a free account, I think chat/contact needs to stay active for about a month before you can review the advertiser, if it's not active it goes inactive in about 14 days and you can't contact them again. Beware of fake Ads too, never send money online and you won't get bitten by fraud. There is no visible support feature on the app or website version, no 'Contact Us' feature, this is extremely poor customer service.

Locanto sell yr information to 3rd parties. Don’t put ads online when the website says it’s pending the informs you it’s live. It’s a Germany based company, not reliable source of advertising and charge through the roof for ads. And allow scammers to steel information and report ads that are not fake. Avoid this site like the plague

This is the Worst Site to use ro try and get Clients. Its Free. But if it's not getting any business, it really doesn't matter. I tried there Premium, which you do have to pay for. I did not get a single client when I advertised on this site. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY!!!

Paid 250 for 1 hour got 15 minutes and it was terrible service dont go to inala to see escort. She couldnt even speak english. Didn't even supply what she advertised. She cant speak english didn't understand i wanted some money back.

Locanto have inserted an already selected 'autorenewal' ad option on the page where you pay to renew your ads. If you fail to notice it and deselect it you will automatically have your ads renewed without your permission or knowledge and be charged for them. During those 2 weeks Locanto had been renewing my ads even though I didn't request them to be and consequently took money from my account. I really needed that money to support myself and my family over the month I wasn't working and was unaware Locanto was taking my money. I emailed a formal complaint to [Name Removed] requesting he return to me all monies they took during that period. This was his response.....

"Unfortunately, the auto renewal wa not deactivated by the user, and it kept running. However, the ads were online and upgraded with the Premium Features, so you benefitted from it :)

Anyways, as we appreciate you as a customer, we would like to offer you a 45 dollars coupon for a future purchase.

Benefited from it?? I was hospitalised then by my own sons bedside praying for a miracle while he was on life support!!

I suggested that Locanto remove or at least deselect autorenewal so that others don't fall victim to this scam. I think it is a sinister scam they've come up with to fool people out of their money.

I'll be taking the matter up with consumer affairs etc. Has anyone else fallen into this trap??

You guys need to get ads in personal sections verified photos before posting ads there 99% fake ads and when you go to meet the woman it's ugly old grannies the Asian ads ... connection using Locanto has now totally been terminated and all my adverts deleted by this fake mob.. I cant even contact them, to ask for an explanation, as they had blocked me from doing so.. Locanto ads are often being used by Chinese illegal brothel owners all over Australia masquerading as "massage" shops with loads of fake photos which can be easily seen using the same email address! Australian Customs and Border Protection should be informed as there is a likelihood of visa breaches.

prices to high (guestimate, around 60%) and feel they would have a better model with a lower price higher quantity ... but hey, there is room for improvement.

The single biggest issue I have come across is the "pending" status of adverts, which is completely unpredictable and a major issue as you may post an ad, "looking for help this morning" ... and it it is finally approved that evening ... yeah 3 days in the case of one of my ads. Need a better SLA or adherence to it, ja, you know, room for improvement.

The incompetence/dishonesty of the staff reviewing the ads reared it's head when my ad after 3 days was deleted, like permanent, without a trace. I was furious, hours spent writing it and just deleted - how dare they, sure keep it pending, no problem, tell me what to fix, but to delete my creative energy - complete disregard for me. When I enquired, I was told there were links not allowed - rubbish, no links, no idea where i would even link to, clearly just lies. So Locanto, remove the delete function - keep your reviewers honest and respect my interlectual property rights, so yes, definitely room for improvements.

All said and done, don't blame the platform for the scammers, that said it would be interesting to see what Locanto would suddenly discover and put in place if the courts ruled Locanto liable for losses ... I suspect there is Room for improvement.

I changed from 3 to 4 stars in recognition of the traffic. It does appear to have a pretty strong following ... for my line of business that is.
