A Gem – I love this little camera. The picture quality is exceptional, and works well in all sorts of light without having to adjust (though you can). The microphone inbuilt gives good sound and I find it is easy to use atop my computer or stand alone. I have had to have the LogiTune & LogiCapture software, and did have a little glitch in the camera but found out that was I needed to upgrade the software, and make sure that the connection to my computer was tight (I have a macbook that has no usb ports, so have an external device and that was causing issues). So really it was my set-up not the actual camera. Love it. It is very worth the investment.

Best web cam, awesome with bright backgrounds – COVID has meant working from home and many virtual meetings. I work facing a wall and behind me in a window. I have experimented with other cameras but I just can not get the exposure right. Logitech Brio definitely lives up to the marketing brochure and it is by far the best camera for bright backgrounds. To further improve the quality, there is a Logitech camera app which enables manual correction to bright and contrast. People can now see my face rather than an underexposed dark shadow. The camera is not cheap but it is a super investment.

Full HD Quality – The web cam works well in Skype and VSee applications, the field of view is 65, 78 and 90 degrees and selectable. The colours are very good and realistic and frame rate produces steady streaming with no blur. These applications use HD (720p) and the camera is excellent in these. Recording in Full HD (1080p) produces an outstanding result. In windows 10 the CAMERA App lets you view the performance of the Brio. Logitech CAPTURE App can be downloaded from the Logitech web site for the Brio. Both of these apps let you record, and the web cam works well with OBS the free recording software. You can test your web cam here https://webcamtests.com/

This device can NOT repeat NOT record in 4K as it comes with no recording software – The Logitech Brio comes with no recording software. One has to go to the Logitech web site to the support section just to download the settings. Their support pages show a file list of 1 program only that supports recording at 4K or anything else and that is VLC. Only problem is it doesn't actually work with the BRIO. Contacted Logitech to ask which programs will record at least 1080p and 30fps(fps is frames per second). The unit is suppose to be able record in HDR and at 60fps for 1080p.

Older Logitech C920 software will see the device but at a very poor resolution of 320x200.

This Logitech Brio retails at $299.95 and claims it can record at 4K. Only problem is there is no web cam software with this ability to record at 4K in Windows 7 or 10.

Windows 10 Camera app will get one recording at 1080p and at 30fps but it won't let the user create a new folder for videos. Its all pretty much hopeless.

Better off buying a Panasonic video camera with HDR and use that for web cam recording and in a far better quality.

Really disappointed in this piece of junk. False and misleading advertising claiming people can record at 4K when it can't.

AVOID this webcam.

The Logitech C920 is still the best webcam that works well. What has followed has been a waste of money and time.
