Fantastic to use – I bought this about 3 years or so ago and I bought it at a wholesale price. I still have it today despite the sliding power button on the right hand side is starting to have issues getting the thing to power on. I have moved from the desktop-use to the Home Theatre PC (HTPC) and it works very very well. With games in a range under 5 metres is ok; a bit further than that and it will start to struggle.
The battery life is excellent, it lasted 3 weeks and only takes a short time to charge. The build equality is really really good, the keys on the keyboard feels like you're using a laptop or notebook (soft).
I do have some issues with it now, especially the signal interference I get with my HTPC set up especially that it is hooked up to a wall mounted television. To fix that, the USB dongle needs to sit in front of the computer; but I am rather lazy and prefer to have it sitting away from the front in case I accidentally knock it out of the USB port.
One other thing I do not like about this is the fact that it is black in colour and it collects dust quite rapidly. So cleaning it is a pain. Everything Signal Interference with electromagnetism of other devices nearby (e.g. tv, sound system); collects dust
Good – This was my greatest keyboard purchase and I'm not sure a better looking keyboard will ever become available. As far as keyboards go, it's pretty enough to be a piece of funiture, or even a centrepiece for your office setup. It's highly functional too! Plenty of extra buttons and function keys which are all customizable through Logitech's Setpoint app. The keys have a depth which is between that of a notebook and a normal keyboard and has lovely tactile feedback
through its soft clicking sounds making this a joy to type on and great for someone who wants to increase their typing speed due to less movement needed in the fingers.
It has a touch pad like on a notebook which can be useful if you take it away from the desk. For example as a media controller, I sit on the lounge with the family and can control the computer without the need for the mouse. It also has a touch volume control which is fun to use, useful and effective.
Besides not having a number pad, the only other downside is due to the Bluetooth receiver. If you use the one provided that's fine but if you choose to use one built into your PC or notebook there will be some headaches setting up and the keyboard takes a few seconds to activate after startup as well.
Unless you need the number pad and/or macro keys, this would have to be the best keyboard available for the home.
At this point, if you want one you'll have to check on the internet but make sure you get one for the right type of computer as there is one for PCs and one for Macs.
Strongly recommended. One of the most, if not the most attractive keyboard ever designed
Touchpad
Extra buttons and customizable function keys
Tactile feedback of keys
Bluetooth = no USB hogging receiver
Recharging base
Long battery life (3+ months maybe) No number pad
Bluetooth = slow to be acknowledged by PC at startup
