Love this Wheel, it is my first one, I know people say its not the best, but I am completely opposite that side, I like the force feedback, the Metal Paddle shifters, and the pedals, they are all great, I have the shifter with this but I dont really use it because I think the Paddle Shifters are better. I reccomend this to a First-Time Sim Racer.
Great fun!!! – It is an entry-level Wheel. I've been using it for a month, playing on PS4 titles such as F1 2021 and Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC). With ACC, it was tricky to calibrate and use. In general, it is a great product; you can't compare it with the top range; it will be unfair. I recommend it.
Great until it goes wrong – When it is working, it is a great wheel, however, when it goes wrong it is a dog. I had problems with the Potentiometer, which started after a couple of weeks. Logitech say they have never experienced this, yet there are numerous reports on you tube. After 12 mths of emails back and forth with Logitech, they keep delaying, requiring more and more… Read more

cheap. Logitech insert a form to simulate load cell pedal Useless carpet grip for pedal. Have to put a box and against the wall. Gear driven wheel. force feedback could feel vague in some games Weak motor. Wheel won't return if you try to drift. Very noise No shifter included Shifter has weak resistance when shift
Tried games: F1 2019 (PS4) F1 2020 (PS4) GT Sport (PS4) Project Cars 2 (PS4) Assetto Corsa (PC)
Steering wheel not calibrating for PS4 (GT Sport) – It worked well for about 6 months, so first, it did not calibrate in PS4 mode, then only in PS3 mode, now it spins from side to side without stopping. I downloaded the latest version of Logitech Gaming Software in my PC to update the firmware, but it stays the same. Logitech only recommends downloading the mentioned software and if it does not work they only feel sorry for you.
Good entry level wheel but with issues – A good entry level wheel for me to use on the new GT Sport game. But...once plugged in, my PS4 Pro doesn't recognise it and I have to use the controller to initially start. After that it recognises the wheel. I can live with that. Unfortunately, I'm now having trouble with navigating on the home page of the game. Every time I move the cursor to a… Read more
point I want to select, the cursor will automatically go back to the top left of the screen. Really frustrating. If I use the controller to move the cursor, it works fine. There is obviously a problem with the wheel buttons. Other than that, it's easy to set up and combines beautifully with my Playseat.
Excellent Racing Wheel Although a Little Pricey – A very good racing wheel for the PS4. This is also compatible with PS3 titles. I have used this wheel with the following titles; - Project Cars 2 (PS4) - DriveClub (PS4) - DriveClub VR (PS4) - NASCAR Heat 2 (PS4) - GT Sport (PS4) A list of compatible games can be found here: … Read more

Positivtes:
- The wheel is very solid and does not feel cheap.
- Pedals are not made of plastic and built on a solid base.
- A separate gear shifter can be purchased, however the metal gear shift paddles are suffice for a great racing experience.
- Compatible with a long list of driving games.
Negatives:
- Can be a little on the expensive side ($399 AUD)
- The pedal base claim it will grip to carpet, however I needed to place something down in front of the pedals to stop the slipping. I guess results will vary on the type of carpet you use.
- The USB cable connecting the wheel to the PS4 isn't too long if you're playing on a larger TV. I sit closer than expected.
Great Wheel – I don't have anything to compare it with other than the PS4 dual shock controller, after an hour of practice I was beating my times with the hand controller. out of the box it was very easy to set up just plugged in the cables and clamped it to a table, turned on PS4 and G29 wheel and it was recognized instantly, I found some advance settings on… Read more
the internet for the game I was playing which helped me get started and then tweaked setting for my needs, almost all settings are at the default level anyhow, the only thing I see wrong with it is there is a lot of extra buttons and a red knob that don't seem to have any use (in Formula 1 anyhow)
I am happy with my purchase, for the price it is an excellent wheel and pedal set, I haven't got a gear stick and at this stage the paddle gears change on the wheel is good enough
Electrically faulty – I've had 2 of these, each one faulty. The first one had a faulty gear lever switch. It would jump 4-5 gears at a time. The second one (replacement) automatically operated the share button whenever a violent force feedback occurred (ie hitting a kerb or another car) making it unusable also. I have since read that this is a common hardware fault,… Read more
most likely faulty wiring or cable connection. For such a renowned company as Logitech I was not expecting such poor quality and would suggest to any readers not to purchase the G29. It clearly has some major problems.
