Good – this is a great little webcam, you have a built in mike, zoom feature and it can be set to lock onto your face. Because of its small size the cable tends to drag it off balance and the swivell on the base is too loose but overall it is a brilliant little webcam. compact, has built in microphone, great picture usb cable heavy, drags camera off balance

Bad – I can't beleive taht I paid as much as I did for my pro 4000, they have come down heaps in price, but as of writing this, I ahve purchased an MSI webcam with built in mic, it has a heaps better resolution 800 x 600 and the audio blew me away when i first used it, as i was used to the poor quality of teh dogi-tech one. Would think that you would be better off spending less money on a better quality cam with better audio. Has a built in mic terrible picture quality and poor audio

Good – Very good product, needs to be cheaper or offer more features at this price point however. No real progression from the 3000 as far as I can tell. Sharp & fairly smooth video at 640x480. Does well in low light. Easy to setup. Nice stand makes it easy to point in the direction you wish. More than amble for all web video links. Need no more to start talking over the net thanks to the in built microphone. Could have smoother video @ 640x480

Does not have higher resolution (still looking for one with 800x600 to record high quality messages)

Could do with USB v2.0 Hi-Speed interface or Firewire

Pricey, would expect higher specs at this price.

Software could be better.

Have seemed to have dropped the hardware motion sensor from the 3000 model in favour of a software motion sensor. Means system is running the camera all the time, software has to be running and there is a constant load on the system. The 3000 had the option of starting the recording program when movement was sensored. Had used this feature to help setup a retail outlet with monitoring customers and sales staff.
