Cant be beat – Such small units, yet a nice rich sound - almost a surround sound to them - I think they are great - makes my laptop a true multi-media work horse while Im away from home. No cons that I can find - hardcore audiophiles may want more - but they wont find it in such a compact light weight and inexpensive format - a great buy! Sound quality, price, appearance Nothing - hardcore audiophiles may want more - but they wont find it in such a compact light weight and inexpensive format

Cheap as chips – I just bought a pair and for a price of $15.00, I'm not complaining. How anyone would complain about such a cheap set of speakers is totally beyond me. These are a cheap, and acceptable piece of equipment that will most certainly meet the most basic requirements of any intermediate user. I have seen several complaints and these annoy me. Nit picking. Cheap Nothing (considering how inexpensive they are)

Is their any way to get these speakers to work on a Samsung galaxy tab 2? Is their a driver device should download or something? Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou.

Linux quality is poor – Work ok under windows 8, but are very choppy and clicky under linux. They installed fine in Ubuntu but the sound quality is terrible. I have spent hours looking for advice in forums without luck. I use linux for work and I cant stand the clicking background on these speakers. I will give them away to the first windows user I can find. Installed under linux and win8 without hassels Terrible sound quality under linux

Cheap Speakers for intermediate usage – I bought the Z105 with my HP netbook and the installation couldn't have been easier, plug it in and go. Drivers come with Windows. But. After one month of daily usage (i was travelling and love to listen to music), they soon started buzzing when playing medium bass sounds or in louder volumes. Furthermore the volume control is not steady going. This means, that the first 50% in the Windows volume control nearly make no difference on the output volume level and even 1% is pretty loud. For my ear, there are only 3 or 4 volume levels that can be set with these speakers, which start with loud and end up with extremely loud. At this it doesnt matter whether one uses the hardware buttons of the speaker or the laptop or the Windows software control - youll get the same result: no remarkable volume change in an area of 20-40%.

I am still happy with them, as I love to listen my music loud, but this volume thing and the bass buzzing proves that these speakers are bad quality.

For me, the 'cons' outdo the 'pros'. get pretty loud, easy installation, good price, digital output, simple but convenient design soon started buzzing, no precise volume control, no low noise level possible

Brilliant Little Speakers – Whilst shopping @ Woollies today I stumbled upon this neat little pair of USB speakers. Amazed at their size and low price (>$18) I stood dumbfounded until I was sure that I was reading the right price tag. As a musician and guitar teacher, I need better speakers than those on my MacBook Pro. I wasn't willing to pay the minimum $60 for a larger pair so I've been on the lookout for a cheaper, smaller option.

Well, what a surprise! The bass response is far better than the built-in speakers and the volume is high enuff for my teaching requirements. I can pack them in my back pack and it takes zero time to set them up since there's no need to find a power outlet.

Excellent value for money. Brilliant little speakers! Price, size, USB powered, sound.
