They are a failure! I got caught up in the hype and bought a package deal. The dishwasher sheets are completely useless, and in fact have enraged me to the point of distraction! Firstly, they don't clean anything. Simple green tea stains not removed from a mug, Greek yoghurt and cinnamon powder still in a bowl, breakfast still left on each plate… Read more
even after rinsing as usual. Next, they are all about the PVA "sheet" which breaks down and absolutely clogs every filter very quickly. So much worse than a dissolving tablet wrapper.
Then, for the first time ever, my dishwasher leaks. The sheer amount of useless suds inside have to go somewhere so they will find their way onto your floor and under the dishwasher. Many users have also noted this.
Lastly, If you're not very careful you will fall for the misleading "Australian" marketing. These are all made in China.
Don't waste your money!
Note: I went and purchased the basic Aldi dishwasher tablets and rehashed the latest filthy load that Lucent Globe left..... they came out brilliant with the Aldi tablet.

I like the fact that they don’t take a lot of room to store. They are doing the job they were designed to do and it’s so much easier than carrying the heavy bottles home from the supermarket. They work perfectly! – I first used the dishwashing sheets to hand wash my wine glasses. The sheet foamed up nicely ( and the foam stayed until I was finished washing) and cleaned the glasses perfectly! I use the sheets daily in the dishwasher and they do a great job. Range Hood filter easily cleaned with no scrubbing! – I used the dishwasher sheets on my range hood filters. The results were amazing! notes on the packaging says it can be used for hand dishwashing. This means a mild ph detergent that won’t aggressively attack the skin- dishwashing detergents often have to have a lower ph to effectively remove sticky or fatty deposits because there is only the water spray inside to physically wirk on the surfaces. That’s low ph is also why they can affect glassware, cutlery over a period of time. So, problem: anything sticky, baked on like egg or similar does not wash well on a cycle where a conventional powder would work. (See photos).
SUMMARY: nice idea that unfortunately, doesn’t work. The upfront cost for the sheets per wash is on the high side, and if you have to use hotter water and a longer wash and more sheets to get it to work, then the economy is false and it. Evokes more environmentally problematic.

Follow-up · Yes we tried using different setting as per advice from Lucent Globe. It made no difference unfortunately. And if you have to use a longer wash cycle to get a result then the economics of their product are completely lost. Traditional detergents just seem to dissolve the food residues much better unfortunately. They left food residues and we pre rinse things before going in the dishwasher so shouldn’t have left anything.

using the laundry sheets, my tea towels have got steadily more stained. They're ok for loads like office work shirts and pants and things that aren't really dirty, but just need to be freshened up. Laundry - not terrible, but not good

The dishwashing sheets leave a dishwasher full of dishes clean. I also use the hand washing soap and toilet cleaner both with great results. In terms of ordering you need to be careful what you are signing up to. I don't believe there is any intention to muddle you. Show reply

I have used around 20 of the sheets and I cannot recommend these at all. Anything that is mildly dirty remains dirty and needs a rewash. I'm always having to rewash cutlery. I was using Aldi dishwashing tablets before which yes have plastic coverings but are also cheaper and actually wash dishes.

getting an error message. The concept is good but the formulation desperately needs review due to the over-sudsing reported by many users. The sheets are also made in China. Unfortunately, I bought enough of these sheets for a year, so I’ll slowly work through them but I’ll reduce the sheet size. I certainly won’t be repurchasing them. Regret the purchase. Took me an hour to mop up the suds with a rag and several rinses to get rid of the excess suds. I could tell the dishwasher was struggling to pump the soapy water around as it sounded different, luckily I was supervising it. Several reviews have pointed to the same issue, I'm glad I stopped it and didn't break an expensive Bosch dishwasher.
Back to Finish, dishes always come out clean and there is never any excess suds. I'll never get that hour back from mopping up the mess these dishwasher sheets made. Luckily it was half price at Woolies.

They only clean dishes that are essentially already pretty clean. Anything baked on / cheesy will not come off. I like their laundry sheets, but will not use their dishwashing sheets again because they are close to useless.

On the third attempt, the plates were still dirty, and white fragments from the sheet were lingering on them.

try a different scent as Woolies only stocks a limited scent range. A 35 pack of laundry sheets from Woolies is $13. Lucent Globe sell an 80 sheet pack on their website for $29.99. I could buy 2 packets from Woolies which would give me 70 sheets/washes for $26. Not to mention the added $2.99 ‘Shipping Protection’ cost that gets automatically added to your cart upon checkout plus $8.99 for Shipping. Your total for one box online is $41.97. Safe to say I ain’t buying on their website.
