Tastes amazing. As good as french pate – Best store bought pate ever. Lovely flavour and smooth texture. I have had french pate and this is one of the best store bought ones i have tried. Delicious !!

Disappointed – No pheasant in the pate, just chicken liver and beef! When I buy duck pate, it has duck in it.

Reduced size, same price – New white container is much smaller. Same price if not more expensive for a lot less! Come on Maggie, this is not right. I bought it regularly but have stopped buying it. Has anyone else noticed it?

This is the best store-bought pate I've ever had – This is the best store-bought pate I've ever had. Most supermarket pates are like a piece of bad meatloaf topped off with a blob of gelatine, but this is the real thing. Expensive but flavoursome. Proper old-fashioned pate.

Purchased in at Coles for $7.95.

Pheasant was Unpleasant – I bought this pate and opened it in great anticipation but was sorely disappointed. If you prefer your pate savoury don't bother with this one. Sugar is not mentioned in the list of ingredients and the nutrient listing states sugar at less than 1g but it is sickly sweet.
