Very dissapointed with the promise of cash rebate advertised for buying cheese and soft spreadable butter has been rejected, wasted $20 for sampling, dodgy advertising Show details

Mainland is blacklisted for my family now. They pulled the biggest scam ever, offering cashback when purchasing theyr products but then rejecting all the claims. Never buy from these scammers Show details

Best real butter found on shelves in Australia – Been buying these for a couple of years now, and it has been the most authentic taste butter in supermarket here in Australia. But have had better tasting handmade butter in Central Asia made from raw Jersey milk kept in lamb stomach. Show details

I do love this – I only use this butter, but at $8 it's getting way to expensive. Show details

Really like – Bad batch made, all I got was an underweight blob of butter in my tub. You got me once but do me again and I’ll quit buying

Using toxic seed oils to their butter exactly like every other brand on the market now – I’ve been buying your butter for years. Why have you all of a sudden started putting toxic seed oils in your butter which use to be made with cream, milk, salt? Is it cheaper for you to add 29% canola oil? Just because you put the word “organic” in front of canola oil doesn’t make it healthy!! These oils are what are cause to much disease and… Read more

illness! You’ve lost me as a customer! I thought I found a brand that I could trust but guess not! Hope the money your saving is worth contributing to making people fat, sick and unhealthy with toxic, highly refined and processed seed oils that should never be in foods!!!!

Nothing better than this – No additives is excellent, I buy a lot of this butter because it’s the best on the market. Salt reduced is another bonus and doesn’t detract from the flavour. Expensive and would like to see Australian competition. I only buy when on special. Show details

Best butter – Really good butter. No oil which is so much better than other spreadable butter. High quality and great taste. Costs a bit more but you pay for quality. Love it. Show details

100% butter that spreads straight from the fridge – As another reviewer pointed out this IS expensive kg for kg for butter, especially as being whipped 3 times (as claimed) it’ll incorporate fair bit of air. BUT if you - like me - love the taste of butter, hate scraping at a hard block of butter, and impatient for it to melt oozingly onto your toast, the choice is Mainland’s Buttersoft. It is, as… Read more

far as I can tell, the only spreadable butter that is 100% butter. Even the imported European brand starting with L has oil churned into it.

Though I do love my butter, I don’t go through it quickly, so I appreciate the packaging it comes in. The butter pat sits in a plastic storage tub, and is topped with a piece of grease proof paper, then sealed tight with foil to keep it fresh.

And I agree with another reviewer, go for the salted as the touch of salt seems to amp up the taste. Oh, another tip, look out for the supermarket specials which bring the cost down to around $5 a tub.

Great butter - absolute fail on price – $6.50 for a tub of this butter ? Dreaming !. That's $17.35 per KG. When did butter become more expensive than most cuts of beef ?. NZ butter is great, but not when its the excess they cant sell that they flog over here. Show details

REAL Butter - that REALLY DOES Spread; Straight From The Fridge – OK, well let's be frank - manufacturers often "stretch the truth" (lie), in order to sell their "stuff" to you. Spreadable butter, is one of those products - it's hard in the fridge, so they have to add things like vegetable (actual seed) oils to try to soften it. But mostly, they just don't work - they're still too hard, so they add more and more… Read more

oils, until it spreads - at which point it's actually become - Margarine (very fake butter, yuk).

But hey, we're told that Margarines are better, i.e. healthier? But what if that too, was a lie?

21st Century research is actually showing that butter, cream, whole milk, whole yoghurt and animal fats, are what our bodies actually NEED?

I mean, name just ONE mammal that feeds their babies - vegetable or seed based milk? They may EAT grass, like cows for example - but what comes out for the calf - is whole fat, Milk!

And it's the same with HUMAN breast milk, not a drop of seed oil to be found! It's what we CAN and DO actually use in our bodies, fresh from the breast!

Mainland Buttersoft is 100% Butter, nothing else - so its 100% taste - they simply whip it three times over, so it TRULY IS spreadable.

Buy some, taste some - and BTW get the Salted one - they're now also realising that salt is GOOD for us too. We absolutely LOVE this - it is what we will ALWAYS buy from here on...
