expect from Marantz equipment and although the range of supported codecs isn't huge (it it noticeably missing THX support) most common formats are supported.

The unit is stylish, reasonably compact for the features and silent in operation but it is wise to heed the recommendations about sufficient air space as the bottom gets quite hot during operation. Ease of use It's a little slow to start up when an attached device is powered up.
