truck broke down!!!! I was losing my patience! Then I came home from work to find a grass tree planted in my garden. 10 months later it starts to die. Numerous calls and emails with no response what so ever. It’s as if he had dropped off the face of the earth! Now I have to try and find money for a new tree. Run as fast as you can from this dodgy company!!! I would have donated the thousand dollars to a charity rather than this low life!

to ensure we were having no issues. We finally had one of their staff visited at our home to organise delivery and the installation of both our trees. We tried consecutively multiple times to send photos, text messages and phone calls to no avail. I once contacted Mike and he assured me the trees would be organised and delivered without delay. That was my last phone call that was answered. Please do not make the mistake of trusting Margaret River trees. We still don’t have our trees and it is now 2026. Very disappointed as the Brisbane home show were more than happy to display their trees.

This is by far the worst experience I have had with any company. I purchased a tree for $2,250 at the Sydney Home Show from Mike. After being unable to get delivery, I contacted Mike in December. He advised that the worker was no longer with him. I expressed that I understood delays can happen and that I was prepared to be patient, but I also raised concerns about the welfare of the trees in Sydney given he confirmed he no longer had anyone locally to water or manage them, as he is based in Perth. He said he would sort it out.

Mike then promised he would personally deliver the tree to me in mid-January. This did not happen, and no further contact was made.

It has now been three and a half months since I paid, which I consider an unreasonable amount of time to wait for a tree to be delivered.

After I shared my experience on my own social media without naming the business, I was contacted privately by multiple people who said they had experienced similar issues. I can only speak for my own experience.

I have since requested a full refund, as I have not received the tree I paid for.

I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision and would strongly encourage potential customers to read reviews across multiple platforms before purchasing.

Paid money for a tree, have a receipt & bank transaction. Been waiting for delivery since April 2025, can’t even get a phone call or email reply. Buyer beware, take your tree when you pay for it, don’t trust this business. We are filing a small claims case, but the wait for a hearing is very long. Shocking experience – Purchased 2 x dragon trees plus various corteen pots from the Home Show Darling Harbour 21.05.21 where they were exhibiting. We paid upfront $6550.00 Inv.1214 They held the items for us till we moved into our new home mid Sept.21. they tell us that the planters that they were supplying didn't have bases. Since it was viewed at an exhibition centre on a cement & tiled floor we had no reason to believe that they were only supplying a ring of corteen. We had to pay an additional amount of approximately 2200.00 to have corteen bases welded onto the planter rings. We emailed [Name Removed] several times, he never replied. Tried calling him many times, he wouldn't take the calls and never called back. Sent emails showing a $2920.00 tree that was yellow. No answer. That tree is now dead. When we took it out of the planter we found that there were no roots. Then took the other one out of the other planter (which still has some leaves on it and also starting to go yellow) to see if that had roots, same story no roots. We have been duped, cheated, swindled. Once [Name Removed] had our money he didn't want to know us.

Absolutely fantastic trees and installation by bloke from yard, professionals at work great – Trees are now thriving, well worth the money for installation, helpful staff and Boab trees magnificent,Thx guys. I will be looking for more soon on our next projects thanks guys

Great grass trees love them – Very friendly and helpful staff, we are sooo happy with our new trees, they look amazing! They have completely transformed our garden. They even gave us a warranty with the trees which we thought was great!

Fabulous service – We have had 4 grass trees installed the largest of which was on a sharp incline up a driveway which is very steep. How this was managed was amazing. They would not give up until the difficult job was done to our satisfaction. I was amazed. The trees supplied are very healthy and thriving. I recommend this company well due to my personal experience
