the end, I replaced some of the pointing myself. After eight years, the paintwork looked very shabby and most of the tiles had reverted back to their original colour (pink). Although there was a ten year warranty on the work, I was so disgusted I recently sought out another company to repair the tiles and repaint the roof. This company informed me that weep holes should have been drilled at intervals through the pointing along the ridge tiles. This is a requirement in the building code and was in existence in 2016 but never done. There were also barge tiles that were never sealed correctly. At least with this company I have a ten year written warranty on their workmanship and a fifteen year written warranty on the paint work. I would never use or recommend Mastercraft to anyone. It is unfortunate that I had to give Mastercraft even a one star rating.

Worse Than One Star – Used this lot about 12 years ago. I am only writing this now as we are now needing major repairs to our roof to rectify the cumulative water damage resulting from their work. our benefit to save money, though no discount was ever offered. We only learned about this when the gutter collapsed at 2.00am in the middle of a major storm, plaster ceiling being destroyed and water pouring down our stairwell that you could have surfed down in a kayak. Eventually terminated the contract before making the final payment at which they threatened us with legal action, which never happened, unsurprisingly.

Roof leaking – The roof is leaking causing hole in ceiling in bed room a number of text messages sent to you with no answers. Very poor work will not recommend you to anyone

1978 house: Roof reclip and sarked. Gutter guard renewed – Many tiled roof houses of the 1970s have clip leak and lack sarking. All the roof tiles and battens were lifted, new battens laid over sarking, tiles relaid and modern clips used. 25 year old gutter guard was replaced with aluminium gutter guard. 5 workers took 2 days to do the roof and 1 did the gutter guard in a day. Mastercraft were good to deal with and I am happy with the end result. Rob and Brett were helpful and easy to deal with.

Looks better than I imagined – Mastercraft just finished renovating my Decramastic roof tiles and it has given my house a new fresh appearance. available. Yes Mastercraft were a bit dearer but when you see the results you can tell why, my job was definitely worth the money.

Roof Restoration – Very easy to deal with, really good communication. Roof re-screwed, thermal painted, and gutters replaced. Probably the most professional work I've seen in 3 renos. Job was completed 16 days late, but since that was over xmas, I didn't expect better. But why only 4 stars.....Mastercraft is really really really expensive.

Cleaning up not Job Description – Mastercraft shopfront was great with awards and glossy photos of their work, but then the ‘team’ arrived to do the work. One tradie! Finally he agreed to clean up, and although not all was satisfactory, eg ‘his ladder took paint of the front gutters’, we just left it at that! Read reviews of other tradies who worked for the same company and home owners described how well they ‘cleaned up around the house’ after the work was completed. I believe the company should check on the work themselves to see standards of workmanship are upheld. Roof looks good, but one should not have to argue about the cleaning up! Not a great experience for us!

After sales service – Mastercraft did a great job on our roof restoration but we did have a small issue but Brett came out and all the issues were fixed. Thank you Brett for your time.

Excellent! – We got our roof restored and painted with Mastercraft and we couldn’t be happier! They were so easy to contact and to talk to. We could easlily reach them anytime we had a question. We loved our roof so much that we are getting our patio built with Mastercraft!

Professional job from start to finish – Very thorough job. Made our 26 year old roof new again. Always in contact. Had a few problems with the weather. Would highly recommend this company. Even let us know , from 2 different tradesmen, that one of our solar panels was broken. Very pleased with the whole process.

Satisfaction – After some early communication problems the roof restoration was a success. Michael proved to be a very competent and very likeable tradesperson who would be an asset to any organisation. Thank you for a job well done. Appearance of completed job is first rate.

Dont expect any service once they have your money – I offered cash for a better quote and the owner jumped in his 200k car and sped down to my place to pick up cash. They put a 6kw system where ever they could. I have panels that dont face the sun. I had leak after a storm which is why they got the 19,000dollar job. just more talk and promises. I am referring mastercraft to the industry ombudsman for price gouging. I had to threaten to open a facebook page to get any response from their office. Another company with dodgy admin!

Solar and Paint – 12 months on and the job is still not finished. Paint is peeling and I had to call the electricians back 3 times to fix up their work. The business owner ([name removed]) has been full of all the right words, but the results have not been there.

Solar Power Installation Hassle Free – Outstanding installation by Francois today. I expected to see conduit connections through the eaves & down the wall, however all connections are directly into the bŕickwork. I will gladly recommend this Company for their first class work.

Great workmanship - roof restoration – Once the salesman Mark had been Wendy contacted us for the timing of our roof restoration which started a week after signing up. Our Tradesman was Corey who did a very thorough job of repairing our roof before completing a full restoration. He even went above and beyond including informing us that insurance company may lower premiums post restoration.

We then had a call from our power provider to say Energex would come and connect, after a few weeks my husband rang Energex to see when they were coming only to find that it was done a few weeks previously. So now we are using our solar and are quite happy with the service. Obviously we would like to be getting more back from the grid but that apparently doesn't happen in Qld. all sorted within a few hours.Our roofer Nick was very meticulous taking 3 days for complete rebed and repoint of all ridges taking pride in his work.

Our painter Tuan also very proficient with attention to detail masking solar panels and excellant clean up.

Roof looks stunning taking years off the age of the house and I am very confidant it will for many years knowing the quality of the workmanship.

Bad - Do not use – These guys cold called me and I had them out to provide a quote on my gutters. Would not come without my wife, so I arrange for her to be there (BELLS Alarming). They were no less than 4 times the price of the other quote we had for the same colourbond gutters. DO NOT USE.

Roof restoration – The original salesman was great but once the deposit was paid the service declined. There was a lack of communication between the tradesman and the office and we were left chasing both for answers. Still have not gotten back to us regarding a leak and their business sign has not been collected. Would not recommend.

A competent job – Got roof restoration done before Xmas. Tradies professional and courteous. Job went smooth and by the numbers. Clean up and attention to detail seemed good. I'd recommend them to others.

Mastercraft Solar System – Had a Mastercraft Solar System installed approx 6 months ago. Both sales & service was great, system was installed without any hassles and works a treat - Our first full quarterly period saw our bill drop to 36% of the previous full quarter. This system is pretty well paying for itself from day 1 ...AWESOME!!!

Solar system – I had my solar system installed recently by mastercraft. Had some issues with the inverter which got resolved very quickly. Now just waiting for Energex to connect to the grid. So far good experience with sales, installer and office staff. Good team of people.

Very happy with our roof and guttering restoration – We are very impressed with the methodical and professional process as carried out by Mastercraft Roofing and Guttering. String line levels were used to ensure correct water flow in the guttering. New guttering was positioned neatly so the old gutter marks weren't showing. This was followed up by the tiles being scrupulously cleaned before one sealer and two final coats of paint we professionally applied. All tradesmen were courteous at all times and left the premesis in a tidy state.

From the excellent experience that we have had with Mastercraft, we have no hesitation in recommending them for roof and guttering restorations.

Our co-ordinator Jack has also been a pleasure to deal with and always answered our questions confidently and made the whole experience a breeze. We answered 1 phone call and the team at MasterCraft took care of the rest. SCAM! – We had the same experience but as it was before online reviews, we agreed at around $5000 (started at $12000). It was a bit higher but sucked in anyway. Had job done and 2 years later after a bit of a storm it started peeling off. They wouldn't do it. Oh, no one else's roofs which were recently painted were affected by storm. A bird just phoned me from co asking if I was interested in solar. Guess what I said? I review everything now plus, I have grown a pair, I'm the wife. Duse them!! Hope this helps someone.
