My dolphin skimmi failed 20 days after the one year warranty expired. The only thing they offered me was a gift certificate for their website in which they no longer have a pool skimmer. So I am essentially out luck. I would not do business with these people.

I purchased S200 Dolphine pool cleaner in 2023 for about A$2,200. It worked perfectly fine for over a year, but then performance declined after that. Right after the second year and when the warranty expired, one morning the adaptor broke and I had to pay over $300 to replace it and six months after that the little spinner inside the motor stopped… Read more

Please be very cautious when purchasing a replacement cord for your X40Plus. They will sell them as 18 metres but will only provide you with 16.8 metres, which can make a genuine difference, as it did for me, then fob you off with some rubbish story about it being better for us to be shorter without even so much as an apology for misrepresenting… Read more

Dolphin S250 performs exceptionally well in our very heavy leafy pool. Had another brand previously that was heavy and much hard to clean out. The S250 is very light and the basket is so easy to lift out, clean and hose it’s amazing. My only disappointment is I trialed the S150 and was impressed also. I chose the S250 as was told by rep that it… Read more ·  1

could do just floor only, unfortunately that’s not the case so I can only run it when pump isn’t on as it get hung up on my skimmer. S250 is a bigger unit and comes with app and longer cord compared to S150 however both do an exceptional job for a reasonably priced pool robot.

I've had the Maytronics pH Drive i-Series a year. Stopped pumping acid. Called to make warranty claim; told service no longer covered, and the part I need is not covered under the 2-year parts warranty! Terrible service; it should not have failed so soon, for an expensive piece of equipment.

Our experience with Maytronics started off well. Our previous cleaner had packed it in after over a decade and we decided to change brands and splurge on the top of the line M 600. This was back in 2021. A couple of weeks ago, after 4 years of once a week cleaning (and I have to admit it did its job very well), it wouldn't start. We dropped it off… Read more

to the pool shop and expected that maybe we'd have to pay ~$500 to get a new power pack or something; I just got a call that the fix will cost almost $2000. I'm shocked! We paid $3000 for it in 2021. We've only put it in the pool for cleaning, the rest of the time it sat protected on its trolley in the shed, so I can't say it's had a hard life. Maytronics recommends to take it out of the water to "extend its life" - that got us to 2025. It turns out the motor has seized, the LED card is not working, the brush assembly needs to be replaced, the elastometer needs to be replaced (what is that even!?), and other bits and pieces that to be fair sounded like wear and tear (brushes split) that we were aware of and planning on getting sorted.

This is where our journey with Maytronics ends. It certainly does a great job, but our previous cleaner lasted a lot longer than this and I would expect a $3000 machine, that now sells for $3600, to last more than 4 years. Of course, it's out of warranty so bad luck to us. We should have checked out reviews online and discussions on Reddit first - seems failing right after the warranty period is not an uncommon thing for the M600, which is rather shocking considering it’s their top model.

Edited to add: Our pool shop suggested that given the machine is not that old we reach out to Maytronics to see if they are willing to assist. We did that yesterday and Maytronics said there was nothing they could do. We're now looking at other brands - apparently the pool shop is selling less and less of the Maytronics models, and I can certainly see why! Now that we have it back from the pool shop today I figured I'd open up the motor unit and see what it looks like given it's destined for the bin anyway. I'm including pictures of what the situation looks like. The seal looks fine but inside is corroded, including the PCB, drive motors, pretty much everything. The bag of desiccant is soaked. This is not something that happens overnight - that's a slow leak and long time corrosion that eventually makes it die and Maytronics just washes their hands of this.

Cleaner was excellent until power button cracked. Under warranty they sent a new power control, wrong one, not powerful enough to push cleaner up the walls. I realised it was the wrong model and rang again, the correct model arrived within two days ! Excellent service the second time. All good again bot climbing walls again !

Follow-up  · Not sure what caused the crack, perhaps heavy hand ? Replacement was just a matter of retuning to place of purchase or contacting company. Fast service received the correct one next day.

When we bought our house we inherited a run-down, very old robotic pool cleaner that broke shortly after we moved in. cleaner and after a few uses I feel a bit shocked at how dirty our pool must have been with leaf litter and other debrisand now it looks amazing! I can honestly say this powerful robotic vacuum cleaner has saved us so much time, reduced arguments about cleaning the pool, and made the water environment in our pool so much healthier! And apart from it being easy to use it also really satisfying watching it work knowing it's taking care of business while I get on with other things! I'm sure this unit will serve us for many years to come but it's safe to say we won't ever be going to back manual vacuuming! If you have a pool then do yourself a favour and get a Dolphin robotic pool cleaner!

However, its now going to take another week or so to repair it. Go figure. I think I will go and buy another brand due to these service issues.

of warranty and so I contact Maytronics Customer service directly.. The were amazingly quick to respond and with a few back and forth communications,( always prompt and courteous), they agreed to cover the repair outside of Warranty. I had doubted my decision to purchase Maytronics because of the repair needed, but due to their exceptional customer service, punctual, professional and courteous responses, this restored my faith in a company that values customer care and knows the importance of customer loyalty. A special thank you to Merrilee the Customer Care Representative who I dealt with for her exceptional customer service and for all she did above and beyond to end up with a great outcome. The unit itself has been a great machine and so easy and simple to use and saves hours compared to the manual way of cleaning a pool. Being a tech nerd, the WIFI capability is great as I can control the Robot remotely and also have great fun manually driving it around the pool.. It does an excellent job of cleaning the pool and not only is the waterline cleaning feature very usefully and effective, it is amazing to see the technology work to make it happen. The unit is easy to clean and maintain. The machine has become affectionately known as "Rob" the robot ! and almost feels like a member of our family. Thank you again Merrilee for providing exceptional Customer service

Product returned to Maytronics where it took roughly 16 phone calls to even get the machine looked at, it wasn't returned until weeks and weeks later. AND THEY DID NOTHING AT ALL TO IT!! I have asked for the company to ring me and no one will contact me about the recurring fault. Our Maytronics robot has had two major breakdowns, the motor board stopped working after about 18 months (covered by the warranty) and now the unit is no longer working after only 4.5 years, so it requires an expensive repair as it is no longer under warranty. For a product that costs over $2000 new, it is a rip off!! There should be a warning that comes with it that clearly states it will not last 5 years!

This review is specifically for the Dolphin M 550. We originally bought a Liberty 400 but returned it as it did not work, so to their credit the local pool shop excnanged it for a M550 for the same price. It cleans the bottom of the pool well. It give a 4 year warranty period

#What I dont like is:- the fact that it does not clean the walls and waterline very well ( this is despite the fact that it has a specific program to do this) Despite all the sales blurb about mapping, this cleaner does not map the pool at all. It is quite random. It wastes much time going over parts of the pool it has already co0vered. It does not do the steps at all. Conclusion: Our last pool cleaner at 1/3 of the price did just as good job of cleaning . It just didnt have wireless. It is not worth the price tag..

Impressive machine. Good online purchase experience directl with company. Easy to setup. Excellent delivery and setup from local vendor (Pool Mate from Gateshead). Do not buy these products! During the three years of owning the Dolphin AW6 (cost of $3000) it went in for problems four times. The last time it was a few months out of warranty and I was told it would cost ~$2000 to fix. They were unapologetic, despite their so called top notch product that apparently has a lifespan of three years.

Maytronics Dolphin Hydro Plus - Not Recommended I purchased the Dolphin Hydro Plus model upon staff recommendation of Swimart as a replacement for my Dolphin s300i (which worked fine & did a great effective job for many years). Unfortunately the Dolphin Hydro Plus, which is a newer and equivalent Swimart spec model of the s300i has performed a… Read more

completely sub-optimal job which is highly disappointing. For starters, the Hydro plus only has very limited functionality and the user can not control depth of clean (floor/walls/waterline), nor duration of the clean, only a on/off button. My Hydro plus model initially would spin uncontrollably mid-air, not stick to the walls and certainly did not do any of walls (inc stairs) or waterline effectively. Only upon firm escalation to the Store Manager was I able to get this issue looked at by Maytronics who apparently ran some checks and believed it was OK in other pools. After another month wait the same robot was put back in my pool where I was informed it is doing the best job this model can do and I must have 'got lucky' with my older Dolphin equivalent 5 years earlier. Despite repeated efforts over another week of cleaning, the Dolphin Hydro plus is unable to effectively clean all floors, walls & waterlines, does not climb the walls, does not go anywhere near the steps or waterline and has been unable to effectively clean the floor of the pool either. Despite frequent calls to Maytronics (phone and online) and attempts to escalate and resolve via Swimart, I remain stuck with this ineffective product, appalled at the lack of service from Swimart and out of product for $2.5k. I was hopeful to find a resolution based on my prior good experience with the Dolphin s300i but I am extremely disappointed & unsatisfied with the Dolphin Hydro Plus from Swimart and strongly recommend you steer clear.
