Works as well as expected but quite a mission to assemble – I bought the 1 ton crane specifically to move a crate containing a very heavy hoist around in my garage (650kg). It was much cheaper to hire a trailer from Bunnings and to buy an engine crane rather than hire a truck and crane for a day. The good news: It works really well as a crate mover and as an engine crane but additional straps must be purchased as well if you value safety and your feet. The mechanism is very sturdy and the whole contraption is well made, so it is probably under rated and could carry more than the rated load safely, but do not carry more than the specified weights. The bad news: It's tricky to assemble because the instructions are vague and unclear. The bolts are all different lengths and are not clearly marked as to which fits where. I found this to be a major failing, considering the safety aspects of such a device. The heavy legs fold up, but not very securely, to reduce space. I have used the extra straps to prevent them from falling and damaging a car or person. It's quite difficult to re-assemble the legs and I'm not sure whether it's because the holes don't line up exactly or it was designed that way because once they are back in place it is very safe and strong.

Overall it is worth every penny and because it folds up, it can fit in a normal garage without taking up too much space, and does the job well.
