Product and service both disappointing. One of the purchased pair of Bluetooth earbuds/hearing aids failed from the start. Medescan offered a free replacement set, and provided a prepaid label for postage. Then one of the replacement pair failed in the same way, and I asked for my money to be refunded.
At this stage Medescan told me they hadn't received the original returned pair - and required me to prove I had sent it. I needed to visit my post office, who provided proof the item was delivered back to Medescan. Finally, Medescan required me to return the second faulty pair before they agreed to refund my money.
The process was time-consuming and annoying, requiring me to return two sets of failed products, and seek proof of delivery when Medescan was unwilling or unable to do this themselves. Staff let me know it was against their policy to refund my money, and called it a gesture of goodwill.
I won't be buying from here again. Medescan no longer sell the product I purchased.
Follow-up · The refund process was a series of hoops to jump through, presented as a favour. Staff were polite, but the repeated failure of their product was treated as my problem. They didn't take responsibility for their own system which failed to capture the return of the original product - saying instead that 'if I found it, I was welcome to use the supplied label to return it'. This meant more work for me before I could get a refund and look for a better product. It would have been easy to give up, but I was reluctant to waste the hundreds of dollars spent.
