I am a disabled driver which means I can’t walk that far - not only is there no signage for disabled spaces but the walk is now 1.1km to the terminal I measured it - returning to my car was even longer as access is blocked by fences and rails - why are melburnians so beaten down they don’t complain it’s outrageous and it’s been going on for years
Been parking at Melbourne airport over 15 years whilst travelling. Parked at virgin Terminal 1st time over the long weekend friday to Monday. Upon entering it waa closed every way I turned. Confusing and frustrating Ended up parking level 1 section N. Ran to virgin check in as I was running late looking for carpark. Came back Monday and it was… Read more
shambles lifts not working. Took me 20 minutes to get to car . Not 2 min as stated online Drove out last night to pay when exiting and got stung with a $240 charge. Lodged a complaint online C10324142. No reply . Can't get through to anyone. Its says contact us but to a no reply email and no phone number. Be very careful where u park at Melbourne airport. Its a mess and a total rip off. I will be seeking compensation as I checked online before travelling and it was $160 not $240
This is the worst, most unorganised and most expensive car park in history. You are forced to park in a certain area and walk a distance to the terminals but still get charged a ridiculous price ie $34 for even a minute over an hour and on-top of that the times printed on the tickets are incorrect, but going by them they don't pay attention to the… Read more
incorrect time printed on the ticket. As confirmed by their staff I parked at 5.29am and left at 6.43am, yet the ticket states in at 5.29am and out at 7.28am, so why the misprint on the tickets. This operation needs some sort of authority to investigate the way this carpark is run. I would suggest avoiding this parking wherever possible

Melbourne Airport carpark-DECEPTIVE RORTING- Charging ALL DAY RATE for 12 min. Recently I went into the Melbourne airport long term "value" (so called) car park in the evening to see if I could get a spot near the fence along Centre road. I drove around for a few minutes & when I couldn't find a suitable spot I decided to exit and go elsewhere-… Read more
Note the photo of the ticket shows that I was there for a total of 12 minutes. I would have been out a few minutes earlier but got mixed up with the silly way the exits work as I had to double back and drive around in circles several times to finally get out !! However I was then absolutely shocked to find that I was charged a FULL days rate of $16 for being in the carpark for 12 minutes !!! Yet in the higher priced terminal car parks they allow you 15 min to get out without charge. So why the hell are they charging you a FULL days rate as soon as you drive into the long term carpark and basically drive out a few minutes later? What's even worse and very deceptive is that they don't warn you of this absolute robbery when you are about to enter at the gate!! Total greed. WHY DONT THEY WARN YOU OF THIS BEFORE ENTERING? In future when I do need to get a car park I will NOT be going anywhere near the "rubbish value" carpark. I will be parking OFF SITE & to hell with the absolute greed of the private operators of this "total rubbish value" Melbourne airport car park.
Over $32.00 for 1hour and 10 minutes parking at T 1,2 or 3... if that's not highway robbery.. I don't know what is.. that is the results when you privatise Transport systems that should stay in public hands.. so you avoid this type of forced robbery from the public that has no other options but to pay up for basic services..this is where profit is the driver that leads to legalised robbery..

Melbourne Airport Parking – Melbourne Airport car parking is a disgrace. Online booking says all car parks are full yet there is plenty of parking available when you drive in. I was forced to purchase premium rates for this very reason. This is a sham.
Waste of money if you book the Premium car park – Booked the premium parking but for the second time (!!!) there were NO available parking spaces at the Premium Car park!!! I was 'upgraded' to the Valet car park but I really don't like that service, I don't want anyone to drive my car around, especially multiple times and furthermore, after checking my car's cameras and dashcam I can see that the… Read more
car was parked at Mezzanine parking, row F, space 254, NOT at the Premium parking. Basically, it was parked at GENERAL parking!!! Waste of money and it's definitely a shame to oversubscribe parking spaces like that!!! Never again I'm paying for the Premium or Valet parking, T4 parking or general parking at T2/T3 is as good as this one.

refund. Not only is parking expensive, I am disappointed that they need to resort to such low tactics to charge more money from people trying to do the right thing.
Follow-up · Thank you. I did finally get a refund.
One star is too much but have to provide some kind of review. Used the valet service as "no other parking options were available" yet, according to other customers, this was a ploy to force more cost onto people needing the service. Upon collecting… Read more
my vehicle, I noticed the windscreen washer nozzle no longer working so I filled it up. Then, still not working. I did notice a foreign plastic object inside the chamber where you store the water. THEN, the front of the car fell down mid drive—I hadn't hit anything at all. Underneath the bumper, that part of the car was completely damaged and someone had just tucked it up as you couldn't screw it back in! This happened on their watch. Never again. Highly Unrecommended "service". My request was ignored three times with my complaints "closed" against my wishes. No investigation, too bad is the attitude of this crowd. AVOID!
Follow-up · The damage occurred on the underside of the car which is what made it not immediately obvious. The driver had obviously driven, possibly at speed, over something and mostly ripped off the plastic cover from the majority of the bumper and under part of the car that protects the engine. The water pipe to clean the window shield was bent. I received… Read more

Just the best service at valet parking from KANWAR BIR SINGH. I thought it would bequite a complicated procedure to manage, but it went flawlessly in no small measure due to the assistance from KANWAR who… Read more

I booked parking online and this was a good experience. Getting the times correct was an issue but took our chances.. Then on a our arrival from overseas, we had trouble locating the bus stop. of the carpark. There must be a massive car theft/theft from motor vehicles within the carpark. I used a steering wheel club lock so I felt safe. But the signs were ominous....If I had an expensive vehicle I would not park in the carpark.
Carpark is easy to locate, shuttle buses come around regularly to pickup from different pickup stations and the $12 per day is reasonable. We like it that we can drive our car and parked there

It it touted as "Value parking" but in my opinion it is expensive, especially if you should stay an extra few hours. I arrived 5 hours late and left about 4 hours late yet was charged for an overstay. I questioned this and was told that "the charge is per day". I said that I had entered and left on the days specified, yet was charged extra. These… Read more
people made $108 million profit on the airport car parking, yet want every extra cent. Its cheaper to get an Uber to go and leave than ( depending on where you live) than to use the "value Car park" They also accept no responsibility for your vehicle when there
Parked here for a few days whilst on holiday at the terminal parking because it is meant to be more secure. A car has hit my car and not reported it and my tyre was also punctured on the side and completely flat. Melbourne airport advised the police that they will not go through the footage over a 6 day period to locate a red car that did it. Note, there are no cameras in the parking aisles, only public walkways, so not ‘secure’ at all.
Caught bus from value carpark, waited for bus to pass before crossing road in full of driver who then drove off in record time when I was 2 metres from the bus and rushing for plane. Inconsiderate and overpriced

Melbourne Airport carpark is a nightmare! So unorganised, run by a bunch of morons, a complete ripoff for passengers and staff! This has to be the worst place to visit in all my experiences.
I had an entry booking at 6pm leaving at 8pm. I was in Airport Drive with the buildings in sight at 7:15pm and I did not get into my T2 booked parking until 7:59pm! The traffic was a nightmare and this road only leads to really nowhere. The problem was there was no signs pointing anywhere nor are there people directing traffic, OMG! Yes, they say… Read more
there is work under way but I saw none of that happening at that time of night just blocked traffic for no reason. I ended up along with many others in the car park that is for Uber drivers so I let my travellers out there at 7:30pm as I had no idea how to get to T2 parking without signage and they could not miss check in. I asked the car park attendants for directions and one was surprised to hear I could buy a ticket for parking until I showed her. The other telling me directions to T2 parking actually sent me out of the airport. Having left that car park and again with no signage and on an exit out of the airport which was one way to Sunbury and no way to turn back until a roundabout around 5km later. I turned around and in approaching from another direction found my way to enter parking at 7:59pm purely by luck nothing this was from another direction where there was some signage but nothing saying T2 parking or any parking this way, only T2 terminal. You would think that with such a disasterous approach into the airport and no signage pointing people in the right direction coming along Airport Drive that some leeway would be given on exit at 9:30pm given I paid for two hours and only spent ninety minutes there, but no, I was charged another $17. Melbourne Airport are responsible for the delays and should be providing guidance around time entering the airport for people to better book their times and along with not having any road signs they know drivers will be late and incur additional time for which they will charge on top of what has already been booked. What a scam! Given there was no flexibility by the operator on the exit box this evening, nor did she know who I could speak to tomorrow, I will instead raise the matter with the regulator.
What a frigging joke. Use it at least 2-6 times a month. Now no longer able to just drive in and park. Directed to overflow and on return have to call and book bus !!!! 20 mins waiting for a bus to pick up. Absolute joke. Time to use an off airport Carpark again.

the exit arrows are not everywhere and cannot be easily spotted! WE drove round for 5 minutes and couldnt find anyone to ask! The bus transfer to terminal is very regular though and the bus shelters are located close by. Poorly managed directions and parkings. Too many road work signs which literally made me missed my flight because i missed one single turn and ended up on a freeway. Need proper directions.
Last night I spent about 15 min looking for my car parked at premium There’s no numbers on the car parks which is absolutely ridiculous Blue 1E where I’d parked close to was the only hint I had and even the guy who worked there who I asked was confused about where it was The location of the two qantas lounges make it very confusing as they… Read more

Had my car window smashed and car ransacked while parked at Terminal 4 under cover car park, doesn’t seem to be safe and secure place to park, no security patrols or care taken, asked for a refund and were told bad luck, you park there at your own risk.
Melbourne airport terminal parking had the reputation for most expensive in the world. Now it has gone completely predatory. If you don’t book online, you face 50% higher rates. Booking online has its own challenges. While there is an allowance for coming earlier, the carpark must be left before the end of the booked period, otherwise, the higher… Read more
rates apply. If meeting a family member at the airport, the flight delay is not always announced early enough to be able to schedule the parking period precisely. Delays in luggage and customs can’t be predicted. The booking cannot be changed later than 2 hours before its start. Damned if you book, damned if you don’t. https://www.melbourneairport.com.au/parking-terms-and-conditions The booked time has to include 20 min to find a free parking bay and 15 min to walk to the terminal and back to the car, because the bay you found is far, far away, due to the building works. The way things are going, it might be CHEAPER TO CATCH A TAXI OR UBER instead of using one’s own car to send off or meet family members. The expensive upgrade going on at the moment might never be paid off, because the parking is prohibitively expensive.
Booked into the Value car park & expected to be outside with the other hundreds of vehicles. Then a couple of days before we were to leave I got an email asking if I wanted an upgrade to park in the terminal undercover for an extra 30%. I thought I would try it as worth the extra 30%.
Parking system doesn’t work. Says there are free spots where there are none. Wasted so much time chasing spots that don’t exist. So stressful. Would give zero stars if possible.
Don’t park at value car park – TLDR don’t bother parking there pre booking is nonsense Pre-booked online but low and belong when I got to the value car park it’s so full cars are double parked. I didn’t park in a proper spot and got a fine when I came back to get my car. customers service were also very unhelpful with my appeal.

Value car park and bus service – Picked up my elderly mother in law and she requires a wheel chair. The shuttle bus could not get the ramp open as he did not have the proper tool to open it and so we had to walk her on slowly. to all departure terminals. some walking is required. Poor planning and layout. The bus terminals in the carpark are very unwelcoming with inadequate seating except a steel bench. Needs improving. Carparking is a hit and miss. Nothing to tell you where the spaces are or how many. It is just a big flat bituan area, with uninviting bus stations, overcrowded buses and infrequent buses plus poor lighting at night. Not to mention , I really wonder if security there is any good at all or just lip service. I don't think i will consider it first for my next trip. MELBOURNE AIRPORT DO BETTER AS THE MONEY PEOPLE PAY IS HARD EARNED AND NOT FAULTY OR INADEQUATE LIKE YOUR SERVICES AND AMENITIES.
neither value nor express – Drop off easy, hence 2 stars. Pick up not good: had to cut holiday short due to medical emergency. express pick up when the pick up point is the 2nd last bus stop on the route. Value Express should be called Value Delay – On arrival it's convenient - pull in and they take the car very quickly. When you're leaving it's a joke. I've parked there 3 times - each time they couldn't find my keys - obviously the systems are not good - the quickest "express" departure from the car park has been 15 minutes.
