Michelle Bridges One Active Wear Range

I bought mine from big w. The worse part is the stitches between the legs. It’s supposed be perfectly fit to your groin, but mine keep pulling down to the knees like Justin Bieber pants. The rest pod the legging fits good. I couldn’t wear them even around the house. So annoying
Quality has gone downhill drastically – Footwear is rubbish. Bought mine online and there is no arch support at all in the shoes. 1st and last pair. Leggings used to be great. Quality now very poor. Stitching comes undone within 3-4 wears. Elastic in waist of all pairs I have bought is poor and they don't stay up. All have gone to the rubbish or clothing bin.
Big fan of the brand – I have bought a few items online and the quality is great. One set didn't fit well but the rest are fantastic. I will be buying more asap and recommend this brand.
Stitching not great – I bought the $35 leggings from Big W. They fit great, feel great but the stitching is coming undone in places and they pick up lint really badly. Only had them for 3 weeks, worn them 3 times, washed them 3 times and they look old already. I won’t buy them again.
BETTER than others i can find at this price-point. Or higher actually – Just bought 2 pairs from Big W, the $35 ones, and can say, that the thickness of fabric is good (publicly acceptable in the bend-over department), its not shiny, which i absolutely loathe, and it repels fluff & dog hair more than some fabrics. I have a pair of PE and a pair of RW, that no matter how long i hit it with the fluff brush, i still look… Read more
like i rolled around in a dog park.
So, the shape, the fluff repellency (dog hair easier to remove), the opaqueness (less chance of seeing my butt cheeks), the absence of disco-bum shine (not looking fatter than i already feel after winter) and the genuine size fit really appeal to me. Size 8 is an 8. Not size 10 or size 4.
The fit is brilliant. Why? because there is nothing worse than running around pulling up your pants, because the waist decides it wants to travel south. My PE do this. I run like i have crotch-itch constantly tugging on the bottom area to pull them up. These legging have a firm waist to counteract this issue.
So thank you Michelle. I think you really nailed this design; i believe your design input is what matters most at this price point, and i appreciate the option to easily access this product (mass market through Big W).
Now after a long winter, and the disappointment of wearing other brands, i am inspired with 2 sets of the Michelle Bridges pants to get out there and start running again. Thankyou!
Has a funny smell even after its been washed – Its bizzare, i have always rated Michelle bridges activewear, but recently i dont know what it is; but the clothing tends to have a strange smell to them, even when the item of clothing has been washed. Plus durability of clothing isnt the best.
GYM TOP TOO SHORT – I am 171 cms in height and thought that this gym top would be suitable but once again, profit over length of garment. When will gym wear manufacturers understand that tall women need length. Fabric and style of top is okay with breathability in garment fabric. Bought all expensive brands and they all have the same issue in relation to length.
Read this before you buy the leggings – Bought two pairs of the Michelle Bridges One active wear leggings from Big W. They retail for $35 each and appear to be just as good quality as Lorna Jane for half the price. The fabric is reasonably thick and you cannot see through the leggings. The shape- as in how they fit on you is quite flattering, they make your bum look good and do not show… Read more
visible panty lines, even when wearing regular underwear. Where I mark these down though, is durability.
I have had these for a week, and the stitching is coming undone at the thighs, and a hole has appeared in the crotch already. The fabric needs more lycra in it, it is quite stiff and whilst exercising pulls in different directions which is what is creating the hole and broken stitching. The stitching/construction is very poor, definitely made in china and constantly unravelling. You get what you pay for. I think it's better to spend $90 a get a pair or Lorna Jane leggings. I have a pair I bought ten years ago that are still going very strong- no unravelling, no holes and I have washed them 500 times at least. The last thing you want at the gym is a big hole in the crotch while you are doing squats!
