No response, never sent items – I ordered a battery for a scanner. The item was never sent. No email or phone call were ever returned. Multiple times I tried to contact them. People are far more likely to leave negative feedback than positive. What are the chances someone decided to write a review for a company that fixed a phone as expected?

- Edit 24/04/2019 I was contacted by [name removed] from Minidigital. They had some issues internally. He offered to send the battery out immediately which was done and received promptly. Communication was excellent during this. I've amended this review to note the change since I originally ordered.

Bad Quality Screens and poor customer service – Purchased a replacement screen for my iPhone7, the colour is washed out and the screen non responsive on edges and not at all sometimes, returned to the store and questioned them about the washed out colour and was blatantly told there is nothing wrong with it. Bad attitude, bad product and poor customer experience.

Got my OEM Samsung screen/LCD ASAP – I had a broken LCD on my Samsung Galaxy S (1) . Asked a few mobile phone hospitals can they fix it , so I get the photos /contacts off it. No one would and I was quoted "maybe $200, not sure if we can get a screen" Checked the net and found Minidigital and another company in Sydney. Pete at Minidigital in Perth was great!!. I rang there with some questions - all answered comprehensively , including tips on how to change the screen myself!! I He personally checked the stock level and that it was OEM for me. He added extra screen adhesive @ no charge. I ordered on Wednesday and it arrived in Sydney on Friday!! Awesome service.

Iphone repair perth – I went on a vacation with my friends to Australia. reception listens to my problem and submitted my damaged iphone. Next day I got a Minidigital service man in my hotel room with a parcel and my iphone was in it. Until I made sure that It is working properly the service man stayed there. Within just one day I found I my Apple iphone back. Really Minidigital made my trip awesome and I would appreciate & recommend them to my friends. Fast service

best ever – I bought an lcd for my iphone, top quality, like new, great! How can I ask for better service and response than what I received, it was great! There isnt anywhere else in Perth that sells mobile phone parts for iphones. They even gave me tips about how to install it, great! fast service

cheap products – Upon installing my over priced screen, my touchscreen was not responding. over exposed chips which in my old screen were covered which prevent the screen shorting out with the board. He tested the screen out of the phone but in the real world it wasnt applicable. I have fixed the problem myself but the manner presented was terrible. The person working for him was a very nice guy and no issues at all. Would never buy from here again.

and Western Australian Consumer Affairs agreed with me and the other poor person here in SA ,that it was a misleading advertisment. but im in South Australia and that ripoff company is in Perth so too hard to chase it up in the courts and his attitude was tough luck princess. Avoid – It took weeks to receive my order, due to Minidigital not holding items in stock. I had one of the items fail during the warranty period and contacted Minidigital as required. [name removed] was rude and uncooperative and I had to contact the manufacturer directly to receive a replacement. They don't deserve your business. Very poor customer service.

Ipod flex cable – Originally the wrong part was sent. As soon as I advised them, the correct part was immediately sent, without me having to return the wrong part. This is great customer service and I would use them again.

Poor Service – I sent my HTC phone in to be repaired as it wasn't charging at all. A common fault with the charge port. Well this went on for the next 4 weeks until the next excuse. We have the part but need to wait for a specialist to come and repair it?! I thought you were the specialist repair agents.

Needless to say when I heard the word specialist I enquired is it going to cost more than the original quote. Their answer was yes but they couldn't say how much but at least 90% more at which point I told them not to bother and to return my phone.

Unfortunately I lost my initial service deposit and still have a non working phone but was glad to see the end of them.

Their communication is terrible. Don't waste your time with them!

Poor or lack of communication with customer. Slooooow time frame for repairs. Expensive.

Terrible – Everytime I ring up I am told that it will be arriving this week - it never arrives and they are quite clearly absolute rip off merchants, I will be contacting the office of fair trading - what is this chargeback thing that I can do? Still waiting for my ipod which I ordered over a month ago and now I'm beginning to think that I won't get it and realising that I've been ripped off by these people.

Bad – Initial service upon ordering was pretty good. Product delivered in an ok time frame though a bit longer than advertised given I paid for premium shipping. Terrible – I would never ever use this company again. Check out the reviews here and on Whirlpool before ever even thinking about using these company. Poor service, inaccurate delivery times, no stock and evasive answers. Oh and your credit card is debited as soonn as you place an order even when your goods are not dispatched for weeks. Fantastic service! – I cracked my iphone screen and after a query to my service provider I was shocked at how long they would have my phone for and the cost. On recommendation from a friend, I put my iphone in to Mini Digital and was so happy that my screen was replaced quickly and it was cheap! I was really happy with Mini Digital's service and would highly recommend them to anyone. Speedy, Cost effective

MiniDigital saved my iphone and was great to do business with – I dropped my iphone and cracked the screen!!!!! Disaster!!! I went to MiniDigital who replaced the screen promptly and courteously. After the repair the technician checked the phone thoroughly to makes sure it was working and I received a follow-up courtesy call to ensure everything was OK. All in all, it was a great experience and I will use MiniDigital again. efficient, honest, courteous

Quick and efficient service! – I've come here to fix my laptop and phone previously. The owner there is very professional and honest. I always refer my friends and family here if they have any tech issues! reliable, quick service

No problems at all – I needed my laptop screen replaced and contacted Minidigital for a quote, I then took my laptop to them. The quote needed to be revised and I was immediately advised before any work commenced. The work was completed in a timely manner and I was informed when laptop was ready for pick up. The laptop performs perfectly. No fuss, straight forward friendly techs. Not a lot af parking.

Repair of swimming phone – Initially took my Blackberry into Minidigital when the trackball failed. It took some 10 days for parts to arrive from overseas and it worked fine for a couple of days, then I accidentally dropped it in the pool. Playing around with it, I found it would fire up OK without the SIM card (how they tested it), but when SIM card was installed it locked up.

Took at back again and showed them the problem was when the SIM card was installed.

The then upgraded the software and reset the phone and it has been good since (three months).

Staff were pleasant, response time was good, but it was frustrating that the locking problem was not detected first up by them Response time and charges Lack of upgraded software required a number of return visits

Very Professional – Inital contact by phone, able to understand my requirements and were reasonably confident they could help. Confirmed price and expected repair time. Followup phone call to ensure the repair was sucessfull and I had no issues. Very profesional service excelent communication

Excellent – the order taker was very helpful and forthcoming. he quickly found the part and the oreder went through so easily. I was very impressed. The part arrived in a couple of days as planned. efficient ordering and delivery on time. also inexpensive by a long way with similar product in QLD.

inadequately and i was charged full price for both. The first job was to replace a cracked iphone 4 screen. (the screen had one crack and the phone was working perfectly) I was quoted $195 and told it would take 30mins. I returned in 45 mins to pick it up and they had replaced it with a white screen, (its a black phone!) and it was still in pieces. I reminded them i wanted a black screen and was told this would take a week and i would have to pay for the labour they had already performed if i took the phone back. I ended up taking the phone with the white screen as i didnt want to pay twice and couldnt be without a phone for a week. After i left the store i noticed the screen actually didnt fit properly and my phone wouldnt fit into a case anymore. The front camera on the phone had also stopped working. When i took the phone back they wanted to charge for a new camera (unspecified price and estimated 2-3 weeks delivery) and another $100 to change to a black screen even though they were going to reuse the white screen and had to take it apart to replace the camera. I have taken the phone to another company to fix this!

The other simple job i wanted done was to copy some photos and music off an old laptop without a battery/power supply to an empty external hard drive. This was quoted at $220 with a deposit of $95 upfront as they needed to take the laptop apart and put the drive into a another computer. They called me a day later to say my external drive was faulty. I took in another external drive (that happens to have all my movies, music, documents and photos on) and they said this is faulty too. I know this drive is not faulty! I have yet to go and collect my laptop and drive form them.. i have paid $95 for them to corrupt two drives and lose a whole pile of data!

When repairing mobile phones the technician and owner often purposely overlooks faults if the customer is not aware of them in order to secure "return business". Beware. He also overcharges, misquotes prices, and often adds on extra at the end of a job.

Stay away from minidigital. Their General Manager - [name removed], Is the only decent and honest person in the entire organization.

$350 for this so-caled "repair". Upon taking it in, I was told that I hadn't said a word about water damage, which I had, but even if I didn't, upon opening it up, wouldn't it have been obvious? After waiting another THREE months for further repairs, which I paid $150 for, I plugged my iPhone into my PC, to find an error message. I called MiniDigital, to be told to bring in the phone again. Again, zero apologies, and no offer of a refund, even a partial one. I was disgusted with the service and qualitiy of repairs. I will never return to this place.
