Having had another Company install Shutters earlier in the year, which took forever to arrive with part of the order wrong, to have to wait a further 3 months, I was thrilled with the service of Modern. over nothing. I was going to extend my purchase further, but decided not to and went elsewhere. Fast forward to recently, and the small pins that hold the shutters in place started to fail and shutter blades fell down inside the back of the doors. I contacted Modern just to get more of these pins, and even after all these years their customer service was even worse. This extremely small issue went on and on for weeks with Modern obfuscating on an industrial level! Ultimately, the switchboard operator had to take the initiative to just send me a sample pin, and I went elsewhere so I wouldn’t have to deal with them further. Just these two examples of my experience with Modern identifies a firm who may have a great product, but their interaction and service falls far, far short of their product. My son went elsewhere to get his house done. Moderns customer service is just appalling from my experience.
Follow-up · After my Review there was still no follow up from Modern. They requested me to contact them, which I did, but nothing happened. Their behaviour did not change and they have continued to ignore the matter. Terrible customer service, which remains.
