I only have Modern blinds installed on my home. They replaced one of my first blinds after 23 years. Excellent product and service. I have replaced with an electric operation which is so much easier to operate than the original manual. Show reply
Had my installation for outdoor blind done on 25th February 2022. Only used it for 6 times but could not used it further as the support structure became loose on 3 side of the support brackets. try calling them during warranty period but unattended. they charged us when the installation was not professionally done in the first place. This is absolutely absurd and I certainly would not recommend Modern Group to anyone else due to the unprofessional services.

time frame we had available. The fact that they are made in Australia is a big plus for us, and the quality is excellent. They have a streamlined appearance with a finish that will not deteriorate in our seaside property and will be easy to keep mould-free in Queensland's climate. Joel installed the shutters in a short time and they look perfect - all in all, we are extremely pleased with our Modern Group experience.

at, but the quality absolutely justifies the price. The shutters feel solid and well built, not flimsy like cheaper alternatives. The finish is excellent and really lifts the look of the home.
The installation was professional, precise, and completed to a very high standard. From start to finish, the team at Modern Group were knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to deal with throughout the entire process.
Overall, a premium product backed by premium service, and well worth the investment.

Follow-up · Hi all, just a follow up on our shutters. So the mechanism is still working well when opening or closing the shutters . I have noticed though that the blades of the blinds/shutter does now have a slight curvature to it. We selected the material to be a composite material and probably should have gone for the aluminium ones. It has been 2 years. It’s not too bad, probably only a couple of millimetres of a dip at the centre point.
I wish I went somewhere else instead of Modern.... but staring to get help – Had blinds installed earlier this year, still aren't right. Somfy motors can't be programmed, installers don't know how to do their job. The photos below are of how my blinds "close". UPDATE: have been working with [Name Removed] on resolution and she's been super helpful.
Follow-up · They took care of this, but it took almost a year. I probs wouldn't return as a customer, they give zero [Content Removed].

The new blinds are well made, look fantastic, and have been installed to a very high standard. As before, Modern Group were not the cheapest option, but the quality of the product and the level of service continue to justify the additional cost.
It is reassuring to deal with a company that delivers the same high standard every time, and based on our experiences across multiple projects, we would happily recommend Modern Group.
We have used the Modern Group 3 times now for our Planation Shutters in our main home and the Granny Flat. The service and product have been excellent from measure up to installation. The initial rep sent out to “sell the product” even though new was great. Covered all aspects and offers and when unsure of our questions he sought assistance. After the final measurement confirmation visit we were told that bracing was needed to support the required middle pole. extend our blind so as to be supported by brick work uprights or they would be unable to do the job. This was not our requirement as it would block our main entry to pergola area. We installed the required bracing at our own costs. Once blind installed, ahead of the projected time period we were more than happy. Great product and does exactly what we were looking for.
