Moira Mac's Classic Shredded Chicken

I should have known better…..Having bought the “Turkey” breast a while ago and finding it disgusting, I foolishly bought the “shredded chicken” for my critters. Imagine little squares of off white, unidentified, rubbery blubber. I can’t vouch for the taste as just touching this awful, slimy substance made me feel nauseous. Show details
Absolutely foul! I don't buy any Moira Macs chicken products any more!, when "shredded chicken" does not look or taste like chicken any more, I feel like it should be called a chicken "flavoured" or chicken "inspired" product! I feel like this is the questionable 'Devon' of the chicken world and who knows what's in it?
Package says shredded chicken which it is not. It is formed processed meat and fillers that has been sliced. It’s is salty, greasy and inedible. Even the cat turned her nose up. Revolting stuff! Show details
I feel this product description is misleading. It is not shredded chicken - it is processed chicken loaf which has been thickly sliced then cut into chunks. I didn't mind the taste but my daughter hated the taste and texture, it is not like shredded chicken. It does warn that care had been taken to remove the bones but there still may be some -… Read more
that was correct, there was little hard bone chunks in every sandwich I made from it. Its not something I will buy again. Will stick to slicing real chicken breasts instead of this ultra processed fake stuff.
Looks disgusting and tastes disgusting. No wonder it's in a packet that you can't see the actual product. It is "chicken chub roll" cut into squares. Show details
Not shredded chicken, not even close. Chunks of processed chicken meat. I purchased to put on pizza, I had to cut finely. The rest will be tossed out. No flavor. So annoyed with false description I will never purchase any products from this company again! Show details
False advertising - this is not shredded chicken breast, this is like chicken luncheon, with only 70% chicken and 30% of all sorts that you wouldn't expect when you buy something called 'shredded chicken breast'
this chicken is not shredded, it’s not roast chicken at all, it’s chunks of processed chicken loaf, false advertising taste like rubbish as well
This isn't shredded chicken. It is chicken loaf glued together full of soy protein and cut into chunks. Very disappointed Show details
Disgusting. The package says shredded chicken, so I expected shredded chicken. This is chicken loaf cut up in to chunks. Very misleading. Show details
Ordered this product and expected to have shredded chicken. However it's luncheon meat. Packaging/ Product description is miss-leading.
I saw the words for SHREDDED CHICKEN on the package and thought "great" because this would be a time-saver! WRONG. Absolute rubbish! It is just chicken loaf sliced deli meat cut a angles! FALSE ADVERTISING. Would never buy again! Purchased from COLES. Show details
Avoid – I agree with the previous 2 reviews. Do not buy this product. It is NOT shredded chicken - it's actually only 70% 'chicken' (including combs & a$$holes). Even if it was labelled as processed chicken I would recommend generic chicken loaf instead. Never again.... Show details

Moira Mac's Classic Chicken Roll cut off slabs, not Shredded Chicken – Do not buy this product. I agree 100% with what Sandra N wrote. This reminded me of dog meat. It is not shredded. It is, as Sandra N wrote, just a large reconstituted chicken roll, cut into slabs. I wish I'd read Sandra N's review before I bought it. Show details
Very Deceptive Labeling – This is a real deceptive product. The bag says it is "Classic Shredded Chicken". It is NOT! It is chicken loaf, and really unpleasant to eat, and doesn't even taste like chicken and has a "soapy" texture. It was NOT shredded at all, but cut up into chunks. The bag was opaque so that you could not see inside. I've been buying quite a lot of… Read more
(real) "sliced cooked chicken" lately, and I did not look at the label, which I should have done. Ijust took ot forgrantedthat it contained what it said, and was in with other fair-dinkum chicken products. This is really blatant, deliberate misrepresentation of a product. That is evidenced by the bag it's in being totally opaque so that you cannot see that it is NOT "classic" chicken at all. Don't buy it. It's not nice at all. I won't trust Moira Mac's products anymore.
